Architecture Development Method of TOGAF in Archi

The picture displays the TOGAF standard structure and the interaction of its components.
Top is the Architecture Capability Framework (Part VI) which outlines the management of
architecture with a target and KPIs and the need to be aligned to business vision. The
enterprise architecture development method (ADM, Part II) and ADM guidelines and
techniques (Part III) will give the steps and mechanism of enterprise architectures
development. The deliverables and artifacts produced by the ADM are built and organized
using the Architecture Content Framework (Part IV). The Enterprise Continuum and Tools
(Part V) will profile architecture content, store it and allow it to be accessed and reused.
Business Vision and Drivers are the first parts of the framework stating the need and
problems to solve. This stream of needs trickles down to the ADM in order to polish the
knowledge and come up with business solutions. The Business Capabilities are then
shaped as solutions and have the effect of influencing architecture maturity requirements.
The feed of the operational changes back into the Enterprise Continuum ensures that the
latter is actually in line with the current situation. On balance, TOGAF framework can be
viewed as a means of networking business requirements, architecture procedures and
reusable assets to provide and sustain viable enterprise facilities.
