SCRIPT:
NARRATOR: A mouse is looking through the wall and sees a man and a woman opening a package.
MOUSE: Humm, it looks good. What kind of food can be stored there?.
NARRATOR: He was horrified when he saw that it was a mousetrap. He went outside to tell the others.
MOUSE: There´s a mousetrap in the house. A mousetrap!.
NARRATOR: The chicken who was looking for worms in the ground said.
CHICKEN: Excuse me, Mr. Mouse; I understand that it is a big problem for you, but I don´t care. That doesn´t
bother me!.
NARRATOR: The mouse left worried. He went to find the lamb and said.
MOUSE: Mr. Lamb, there´s a mousetrap in the house!.
LAMB: I think that it is not for me. Excuse me, Mr. Mouse, but there´s nothing I can do. I can only pray. Stay
calm, you are in my prayers!.
NARRATOR: Then the mouse went to see the cow.
MOUSE: There`s a mousetrap in the house, Mrs. Cow!.
COW: That won´t hurt me. Am I in danger?. I don´t think so.
NARRATOR: Then the mouse went back home looking sad and defeated. That same night when everything
was quiet, a loud noise was heard. The noise was that of a mousetrap getting a victim. The woman ran to
see the mousetrap. But it was so dark that she didn´t see that the mousetrap got the tail of a deadly snake.
Then the snake bit the woman.
WOMAN: Oh, I got bit by a snake!.
NARRATOR: The woman fainted. The man called the doctor. The doctor came and took her temperature, and
recommended a chicken soup. Everybody knows that chicken soup is good for people with a fever. The man
went out to look for the main ingredient: The chicken. So he ran after the chicken.
MAN: Come here little chicken, I am going to make a soup.
CHICKEN: Oh no, my days are over. I will be the soup!.
NARRATOR: The man showed up with a chicken soup. Since the woman was still sick, her friends and
neighbors came to see her. To feed them all, the man decided to cook lamb.
MAN: Come her little lamb. I am going to cook a delicious dish.
LAMB: Oh my, I’m next. I have to run and save my life!.
NARRATOR: Then the man started chasing the lamb. When the woman got better they wanted to celebrate
by giving a big party. They decided to cook the cow to feed everybody. So The man chase the cow.
MAN: Come here, little cow, I am going to cook.
COW: Who, me?. No, I wasn´t invited to the party.
MAN: Yes you were!. You are the main dish.
NARRATOR: Finally, the mouse decided to get out.
MOUSE: Next time, when you hear that someone is having problems, remember that there´s a mousetrap
in the house, so the whole farm is in danger!. Did you see who got saved?. We need to help those who
need us. We never know when we will be in the same situation.
THE END
Moral: Next time you hear someone has a problem and you think it doesn’t concern you, remember when
one of us is threatened, we are all at risk. Never forget that we are involved in this journey called life
together!. We must keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another.

THE WOLF AND THE THREE LITTLE PIGS
“Little Pig, little pig,
let me come in,”
said the wolf to the pig.

said the pig to the wolf.

NARRATOR: Once upon a time three pigs left their mother´s home and went into the world.
PIG 1, 2, AND 3: Good-bye Mother.
MOTHER: Good-bye my little sons.
NARRATOR: The three pigs went different ways. Soon pig 1 met a man who was selling straw.
PIG 1: I need some straw, would you sell it to me?.
MAN: Of course. Take it.
NARRATOR: Pig 1 paid the man and went to buid his house. Later, Pig 2 met a man who was selling wood.
PIG 2: Please Sir, I need some wood to build my house. Would you sell it to me?
MAN: Yes. Take it.
NARRATOR: Pig 2 paid the man and went on his way to make his wood house. Later, Pig 3 met a man who
was selling bricks
PIG 3: Excuse me Sir, I need some bricks. Are they for sale?.
MAN: Of course. Take them.
NARRATOR: Pig 3 paid the man and went on his way to build his brick house. When the three pigs finished
their houses they moved in. Pig 1 was taking a nap when someone knocked at the door. Pig 1 looked
through the window and saw a wolf.
WOLF: Little pig, little pig, let me in!.
PIG 1: Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin.
WOLF: Then I´ll huff andI´ll puff and I´ll blow your house in.
NARRATOR: The wolf huffed and puffed and destroyed pig 1 house. Pig 1 ran all the way to pig 2 house.
When he got there Pig 1 told Pig 2 what had happened. Pig 2 invited Pig 1 to live with him. After a few days,
there was a knock at the door. The two pigs looked out the window and it was the wolf.
WOLF: Little pigs, Little pigs, let me in!.
PIG 1 AND 2: Not by the hairs on our chinny-chin-chins.
WOLF: Then I´ll huff andI´ll puff and I´ll blow your house in.
NARRATOR: The wolf huffed and puffed and destroyed the house. The pig brothers ran all the way to pig 3
house. When they got there pig 1 and pig 2 told pig 3 everything that had happened. Then pig 3 invited his
two brothers to live with him. After a few days, there was a knock at the door. The pigs looked out the
window and they saw the wolf.
WOLF: Little pigs, Little pigs, let me in!.
PIGS 1, 2, AND 3: Not by the hairs on our chinny-chin-chins.
WOLF: Then I´ll huff andI´ll puff and I´ll blow your house in.
NARRATOR: The wolf huffed and puffed several times but he couldn´t destroy the brick house. Then the wolf
decided to think what to do, so he went and sat in a log. Meanwhile, the three pigs started cooking dinner.
They put a large pot of water in the fireplace to cook some soup.
WOLF: I know what to do. I´ll get in through the chimney and I will eat those pigs.
NARRATOR: The wolf climbed up to the roof. But he didn`t know that there was a pot of boiling water at the
bottom of the chimney. Then the three pigs heard a noise.
WOLF: I´m coming to get you cutie pigs!.
NARRATOR: The wolf then jumped down the chimney and fell into the pot of boiling water.
WOLF: AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!
NARRATOR: The wolf jumped back up the chimney and ran into the woods. The pigs lived in peace and never
saw the wolf again.

NARRATOR: Once upon in a small village there lived a shepherd boy named Peter. He lived with his uncle
Jim and his aunt Angie. Every night they sat together by the fireplace to tell stories about wolves.
UNCLE JIM: And that was the end of the story.
PETER: And what happened to the wolf?.
UNCLE JIM: He was never seen again.
PETER: Oh!. Uncle, are you afraid of wolves?.
UNCLE JIM: No, but they can´t be around people.
PETER: What would happened if they came near our town?.
UNCLE JIM: Well, they could harm us, especially our sheep.
PETER: What about you, aunt Angie, are you afraid of wolves?.
AUNT ANGIE: Yes, I am Peter!. Everybody in town is afraid of wolves!.
PETER: Oh, I see!.
AUNT ANGIE: It´s late Peter. Tomorrow morning you must take care of the sheep.
PETER: See you tomorrow.
UNCLE JIM AND AUNT ANGIE: Good night, dear.
NARRATOR: Peter went to bed, and next day while he was sitting in the hillside he thought.
PETER: I am bored. I don´t like to be here just taking care of the sheep. I should be in the lake swimming!.
NARRATOR: Then he thought of a way to have fun.
PETER: That´s it!.
NARRATOR: And he started shouting.
PETER: The wolf!. The wolf!. The wolf is coming!.
NARRATOR: Some people came to see what was happening. They brought picks and shovels, and
everything else they could find to get rid of the wolf.
VILLAGER 1: What´s wrong?.
PETER: I saw the wolf over there. He´s looking at us right now!.
VILLAGER 2: Where?.
PETER: He´s behind those trees!.
VILLAGER 3: I can´t see anything!.
VILLAGER 4: Are you sure Peter that you saw the wolf?.
PETER: Yes I am. He´s moving. Look!.
VILLAGER 1, 2, 3, 4: Let´s get him!.
NARRATOR: As the villagers approached the trees where the wolf was supposed to be, Peter started
laughing.
PETER: It wasn´t true!. Ha, ha, ha, ha! . It was a lie!. Ha, ha, ha, ha!.
NARRATOR: Then the villagers came back to where Peter was.
VILLAGER 4: I knew it!.
VILLAGER 1: Why did you lie to us, Peter?.
VILLAGER 2: You know this isn´t funny!.
PETER: Yes it is!. Ha, ha, ha, ha! .
VILLAGER 3: Let´s go, we have work to do, and I will talk to your uncle about this.
PETER: You are scared of the wolf!. You are scared of the wolf!. Ha, ha, ha, ha!.
NARRATOR: When the villagers left, Peter kept laughing.
PETER: At least I had a good time today!.
NARRATOR: But what Peter didn´t know, is that the wolf as indeed hidden behind the trees, just watching
him. When he went back home that afternoon, his uncle and aunt said.
UNCLE JIM: They told me what you did today.
AUNT ANGIE: I feel ashamed of you, Peter.
PETER: But aunt, I was bored. You know I don´t like to take care of sheep.
UNCLE JIM: That is not a good reason to lie.
PETER: I am sorry. I will not do it again.
UNCLE JIM AND AUNT ANGIE: We hope so.
AUNT ANGIE: Go to bed now, and we will see you in the morning.
PETER: Good night.
UNCLE JIM AND AUNT ANGIE: Good night, dear.
NARRATOR: Next day after having his usual breakfast, Peter went to the hillside once again. While he was
taking care of the sheep, he saw the real wolf approaching, and he started shouting.
PETER: The wolf!. The wolf!. The wolf is coming!.
NARRATOR: The same people that a day before tried to help him, heard him, and they said.
VILLAGER 1: Sure!. Sure!. You are trying to fool us again!.
VILLAGER 2: Give him a piece of bread!. Ha, ha, ha, ha.
PETER: No!. I am telling you the truth!. Help!. Help!. The wolf is chasing the sheep!.
VILLAGER 3: He must be tired!. Give him some water!. Ha, ha, ha, ha!.
PETER: Please, come!. The wolf is here!.
VILLAGER 4: Leave us alone, Peter!. We have work to do!.
PETER: Oh No!. The wolf ate all the sheep!.
VILLAGER 1: Sure!. Sure!. Ha, ha, ha, ha.
PETER: It´s the truth!. The wolf is gone, and the sheep too!.
NARRATOR: Then one of the villagers went to where Peter was.
VILLAGER 1: Stop it, Peter!. But, why are you crying?.
PETER: I told you, it was the wolf. He was here.
VILLAGER 1: Oh!. So you were telling the truth.
NARRATOR: The rest of the villagers came and said.
VILLAGER 2: We thought it was a joke, just like yesterday. Do you remember?.
PETER: Yes, I remember, and I am sorry.
VILLAGER 3: We hope you learned your lesson, Peter.
VILLAGER 4: You should not lie. People will not trust liers, even if they say the truth.
PETER: I will never lie again, I promise!.

NARRATOR: Cinderella lives in a house with her Stepmother and her two Stepsisters. Her Stepmother never
works around the house. Everyday she says.
STEPMOTHER: Cinderella, wash the dishes, Cinderella, clean the house. Cinderella, work, work, work!.
NARRATOR: Her Stepmother is not good. She is bad. One of Cinderella´s Stepsisters is fat with a big nose.
The other one is thin, with big ears, and they don´t like to work either.
STEPSISTER 1: Cinderella, come here!.
STEPSISTER 2: Cinderella sweep the floor!.
STEPSISTER 1: Cinderella clean my shoes!.
STEPSISTER 2: Cinderella comb my hair!.
NARRATOR: Cinderella is very beautiful, and hardworker. She is good to her Stepmother and to her
Stepsisters. One day they receive an invitation.
STEPSISTER 1: Mother, read it!.
STEPSISTER 2: What does it say?.
STEPMOTHER: It says that every woman is invited to a ball.
CINDERELLA: Oh, I want to go to the ball. I like to dance.
STEPSISTERS: You want to go to the ball?. You must be crazy!.
CINDERELLA: Yes, I want to go to the ball.
NARRATOR: Cinderella works hard. She starts making the dresses for her Stepmother and her Stepsisters.
She doesn´t have time to make her own dress.
STEPSISTERS: We are going to the ball!. We are going to the ball!.
STEPMOTHER: If you don´t have a dress, you will not go to the ball.
NARRATOR: Cinderella starts to cry.
CINDERELLA: I don´t have a pretty dress. I have an ugly dress. I am not going to the ball.
STEPSISTERS: What a shame!. We have pretty dresses. Good-bye!.
NARRATOR: Suddenly, Cinderella sees a very beautiful woman. It´s her Fairy Godmother.
FAIRY GODMOTHER: Now you have a pretty dress.
NARRATOR: Cinderella looks at her dress and says.
CINDERELLA: Yes, I have a pretty dress!. I am going to the ball. I am happy!.
FAIRY GODMOTHER: Just remember that you have to come back at twelve o´clock. Don´t forget!.
CINDERELLA: No, I won´t forget!. Good-bye.
NARRATOR: Cinderella goes to the ball, and when she enters the palace everybody look at her.
GIRL 1: What a pretty girl!.
GIRL 2: Who is she?.
NARRATOR: The handsome prince looks at her and says.
PRINCE: I want to dance with her.
NARRATOR: He walks to where she is, and says.
PRINCE: Do you want to dance with me?.
CINDERELLA: Yes, I want to dance with you.
NARRATOR: And they danced all night. Suddenly, Cinderella hears the clock strike .
CLOCK: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve.
CINDERELLA: I have to go!.
NARRATOR: Cinderella runs and runs outside the palace, but she drops one of her shoes. The Prince runs
after her, but he doesn´t see her.
PRINCE: Wait!. Wait!. What is your name?. Where do you live?. Wait!.
NARRATOR: Then he picks up the shoe and says.
PRINCE: Where is she?. I don´t even know her name. I don´t know anything about her. I am very sad.
NARRATOR: Next morning, when the prince wakes up, he says.
PRINCE: I have to find my pretty lady. I have her shoe!.
NARRATOR: He goes to town and looks for her in every house there is.
PRINCE: Is the pretty lady here?.
WOMAN 1: No, she is not, and I don´t know where she is.
NARRATOR: The prince goes to another house, and another one, and another one. He doesn´t find her. At
last, he goes to Cinderella´s house.
PRINCE: Is the pretty lady here?.
STEPMOTHER: Yes, she is. That is my daughter´s shoe. Daughter, come here.
STEPSISTER 1: Yes, mother.
STEPMOTHER: Try on the shoe.
NARRATOR: Her daughter, who is very fat, tries to put on the shoe.
STEPSISTER 1: I can´t . This shoe is too small, and my foot is fat. It hurts!. This is not my shoe.
NARRATOR: Meanwhile, Cinderella is coming down the stairs and says.
CINDERELLA: That shoe is mine.
STEPSISTERS: Ha, ha, ha. You’re silly!.
CINDERELLA: Yes, that shoe is mine!. And I have the other one.
NARRATOR: Suddenly she appears with her pretty dress, and once again she looks very beautiful.
PRINCE: I love you!. I love you!. Do you want to marry me?.
CINDERELLA: Yes, I want to marry you.
NARRATOR: And now Cinderella and the Prince live happily in the palace.

THE CHICKEN OF THE GOLDEN EGGS

SCRIPT:
NARRATOR: Once upon a time there was a farmer who was very poor. One day he was plowing the field and
thought.
FARMER: I work too much, and all for nothing!. I am tired of coming here every day and just for a few cents. I
really have bad luck!.
NARRATOR: Suddenly an elf appeared.
FARMER: Oh my!.
ELF: Don’t be afraid.
FARMER: Who are you?.
ELF: I heard what you said, and today your luck will change. Take this hen.
FARMER: Thank you, I am so hungry!. I will cook it as soon as I get home.
ELF: No!. This is a very special hen.
FARMER: What makes it so special?. Does it talk?.
ELF: No, just listen to me!. This hen is so wonderful that every day it lays a golden egg.
FARMER: A golden egg?.
NARRATOR: The elf didn’t answer, and he just disappeared.
FARMER: I hope it’s true. I will go home right away.
NARRATOR: The farmer went home and immediately put the hen in a cage. Next day, as soon as he woke up,
he went to the chicken house to see if the hen laid the golden egg.
FARMER: Oh, it is true!. It’s an egg of solid gold!.
NARRATOR: He took the egg, went to town, and tried to sell it. He stood in the middle of the street and
shouted.
FARMER: Golden egg for sale!. Golden egg for sale!.
NARRATOR: Soon, a crowd gathered around him amazed at the golden egg.
WOMAN 1: How much do you want?.
WOMAN 2: Is it really a golden egg?.
FARMER: Sure, it is!.
MAN 1: I want it!.
MAN 2: No, it’s mine!.
MAN 3: I’ll buy it!. Sell it to me!.
FARMER: It’s yours then, and don’t worry, I will bring another one tomorrow. There are enough for
everybody!.
NARRATOR: The farmer sold the egg. Next day. when he woke up he went straight to see if there was another
golden egg.
FARMER: Good, another golden egg!. I’ll sell it right away.
NARRATOR: And once again he went to town and sold the egg. After that day, and every day, the hen gave him
a beautiful golden egg.
FARMER: I am getting richer and richer every day. I am the richest man in town!. I have everything a man
could want, but I wonder how I could get more eggs from my hen.
NARRATOR: As the farmer grew richer, he also became greedy and stingy.
FARMER: I want to have more and more money!. I am tired of waiting every day just for one golden egg.
NARRATOR: And he thought and thought.
FARMER: I am going to kill the hen and I’ll find the gold mine she has inside. I will have all her treasure at
once!.
NARRATOR: So he cut her open and found nothing at all.
FARMER: This can’t be!. Where’s the gold mine?. Where’s her treasure?. Now I don’t have the hen and its
golden eggs!.
THE END
Moral: Much wants more and loses all. People should be satisfied and grateful for what they have.
THE LION AND THE MOUSE

NARRATOR: Once upon a time a Lion was taking a nap, when a little mouse began running up and down upon
him; this soon woke up the Lion, who placed his huge paw upon him, and opened his big jaws to swallow him.
MOUSE: I am sorry!. Forgive me this time, and I will never forget it. I promise to do something for you in
return some of these days.
LION: Ha, ha, ha, yeah sure!. You can go.
NARRATOR: A few days later, some hunters caught the king of the jungle.
HUNTER 1: Hey, look what we got here!. This lion is so big and strong. Let´s take him to our king.
HUNTER 2: Yes, but let`s tie him first to that tree while we go to get a wagon to carry him on.
NARRATOR: Just then the little mouse was passing by.
MOUSE: Da, da, da, Oh, what do we have here?. It´s my friend, the lion!.
LION: It`s me, help me please before the hunters come back.
MOUSE: I will. I haven`t forgotten the promise I made to you one day.
NARRATOR: So the mouse started eating the ropes.
MOUSE: You are free now. A few days ago you laughed thinking that I couldn`t do something for you in return
for what you did for me. Now it is time that you know that little mice are grateful and keep their promises.
LION: I am sorry, my friend. Thank you for what you did for me now. I will never laugh at the promises made by
the little ones, I know that when the time comes, they will not forget them.

THE ROOSTER AND THE FOX

ACT 1 – In the Country
(The Fox enters and walks through the stage)
FOX: What will I have for breakfast?. (He hears the Rooster crowing loudly) Now I know!. (looks to the
sides) I think I heard my next meal!. Where is that Rooster?. (He keeps walking and reaches a hen pen. He
sees the Rooster, the Hen, the Goose, and the Duck)
HEN: (to the Fox) Oh, it’s you again!.
GOOSE: Don’t you have anything to do?.
DUCK: You haven’t had breakfast, right?. I bet you’re really hungry!.
FOX: You’re wrong, I already had my breakfast. I’m just taking a walk.
ROOSTER: I don’t believe you. You’re just waiting for a chance to come in and eat us all up.
FOX: I’d never do that. Oh my, you don’t know me!.
HEN: We’ve seen you many times around here, and we know that you want to get in.
FOX: You’re wrong, and to prove it to you, I’m leaving right now because I have a lot of things to do.
ROOSTER, HEN, GOOSE, AND DUCK: Fine, leave, and don’t come back!.
FOX: (In a low voice) I know Rooster, that some day I will get you, and then we’ll see who sings better!.
(The Fox leaves)
ACT 2 – Near a River
(The Fox enters)
FOX: I’ll drink some fresh water from the river. (He approaches the river to drink some water and hears the
Rooster crowing) The Rooster!. Where can he be if I’m far away from the hen pen?. (He looks to the sides,
then he looks up and down and sees the Rooster up on a tree branch) Well, well, well…it’s you, my dearest
friend! I’m so glad to see you!.
ROOSTER: I’m pretty sure of that.
FOX: Long time no see. Why don’t you get down from that tree and come and say hello.
ROOSTER: I would like to, but there’s one problem.
FOX: What is it?.
ROOSTER: There are some animals who like to eat hens and roosters.
FOX: That means you still don’t know the good news.
ROOSTER: What good news?.
FOX: There’s been established a new peace treaty. From now on, all the animals and birds will be friends
and will live together in peace, harmony, and love. So come on down so we can celebrate.
ROOSTER: Let me think about it.
FOX: Look, sooner or later you’ll have to come down if you want to go back, so let’s walk together to the
hen pen. (The Rooster stretches his neck and looks in the distance) What are you looking at?.
ROOSTER: Oh, it’s nothing, don’t worry!. I see some dogs running down the hill and it seems they are
coming this way. Don’t you hear them barking?.
FOX: Really?. Yes, I can hear them now. They are getting closer!.
ROOSTER: Oh my, they run so fast!.
FOX: Oh, how could I forget!. I promise this morning to visit one of my aunts who is very sick. I’m sorry, but
I have to go now.
ROOSTER: Wait a minute, I’ll get down from here so you, the dogs and me, can talk about the new peace
treaty you just mentioned.
FOX: (Looking to the sides) I really would love to, but it’s getting late.
ROOSTER: I suppose you’re not afraid of dogs. I mean after the peace treaty you told me about, they would
not harm you, right?. Remember you said that we are all friends!.
FOX: Of course not!. But maybe they haven’t heard about the peace treaty. Please excuse me, but I really
have to leave. Good-bye rooster!. (He leaves)
ROOSTER: He tried to deceive me with a peace treaty, but I also cheated on him!.
