A. Content Standard The learners demonstrate an understanding of the three main categories of rocks.
B. Performance Standard The learners create a model of rock forming minerals and types of rocks using indigenous materials.
C. Learning Competency MELC: Classify rocks into igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic. (S11/12ES-Ib-10).
D. Learning Objectives 1. Classify and describe the three basic rock

Directions: Group the 10 rock samples into the
three types of rocks. Use the magnifying lens to
