Composing Effective Paragraphs
I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students shall be able to:
A. identify the key elements of an effective paragraph (topic sentence, supporting
details, and concluding sentence);
B. express personal thoughts and opinions confidently through writing;
C. construct a well-organized paragraph based on a chosen real-life situation.

A. Preliminary Activities
• Prayer
-Starts the class with a short prayer, promoting focus and respect.

Ensures everyone is present and prepared.

D. Application (Group Activity)
• Students are divided into five groups.
• Each group receives a real-life topic and set of emoji reactions.
• Task: Write a structured paragraph using proper format and transition words.
• Post work on the board and give feedback to other groups using the emoji reactions.
E. Generalization
Students pass around printed images of a burger and hotdog to summarize the discussion and share
one thing they learned from the lesson. Each student continues the sharing by passing to another
classmate.
