Gamma and Beta Functions Overview

The document discusses the Gamma and Beta functions, which are special transcendental functions defined through improper definite integrals. These functions have significant applications in various fields such as asymptotic series, number theory, and engineering. The document also outlines key properties of the Gamma function, including its relation to factorials and provides exercises related to its computation.
