This topic reminds me of a terrible experience that I once had with my laptop
computer. If I'm not mistaken, it took place about 8 months ago. At the time, I was in
my room preparing some PowerPoint slides for a subject at my university. After I had
finished almost everything, all of a sudden, my laptop's screen was frozen and it
couldn't perform any tasks. I tried pressing different keys on my laptop but nothing
happened. I was in panic and I didn't know what to do. After a few minutes, I tried to
calm myself down and think about the solution. I grabbed my phone and went to
Google and searched for my problem. I found one article on the internet that told
exactly what I was going through. It explained the cause in detail and showed me
some steps to solve it. I quickly followed the instructions and one of the first steps
was to reboot by holding the power button until my laptop turned off and then
pressing it again. After the screen had gone back on, I ran a program to free up space
and remove unwanted files to get rid of the problem for good. That's when I realized I
hadn't saved the PowerPoint. As you may have guessed, it was pretty awful and I was
extremely furious because all of my work had been down the drain. In the end, I had
to spend a couple more hours remaking the PowerPoint, which was a real hassle.
After that painful experience, I learned a lesson that before I start doing anything on
my laptop, I should create a file to make sure that I won't lose it in case some
unexpected errors occur.
