PLD means in Portuguese - pump, tube, nozzle, names it received due to its
constructive arrangement, this module is responsible for the electronic management of data
of the motor, carried out through a microprocessed module that is installed inside
from a metal box that exchanges information and commands with all the sensors and
actuators through a 55 (fifty-five) pin connector. The rest of the vehicle
(Cabin) communication is carried out through a 16 (sixteen) pin connector.
The PLD module is intended to calculate and apply the start of injection time.

motor that is allowed through the information from the Rotation sensors and
PMS, and with that, it controls the injection units to pressurize the fuel in the
injector with maximum precision, and in this way it is possible for the vehicle to function
with a minimum of pollutant emissions associated with a powerful engine and with consumption
smaller. This system monitoring tracks all operating modes of

The Intake Air Temperature and Pressure Sensor (combined model) are
two sensors mounted in a single piece, which is installed in the piping of
admission.
The information on the variation in the temperature of the admitted air is important to be able to
to know the density of the admitted air mass, as it may be more compacted or
expanded, depending on the variation of its temperature, for example: Air when it is
Cold, its molecules are more compacted, and when it is hot, they are
molecules are more expanded, thus the mass of air in the same physical space is
larger when the air is cold.
Oxygen is the main element used for combustion to occur.
The percentage of oxygen that is relatively mixed with the air is 21%.
The air temperature sensor is of the NTC type (Negative Temperature Coefficient)
Temperature). The operating principle of this sensor is identical to that of the sensors of
water and fuel temperature, however, its construction is a little different
so that you can better feel the air temperature being taken in by the engine.
As the air passes very quickly through the sensor, it is necessary for the measurement to be fast as well.

The engine oil pressure sensor informs the PLD module of the pressure in the line
of engine lubrication, in which this information is checked for protection purposes
motor and for instrument panel indication.
The internal composition of the oil pressure sensor is a quartz crystal in which
is installed inside it associated with an electronic circuit that has
to vary the electrical voltage (electrical signal) according to the variation of the
pressure in the engine lubrication line in which it is inserted.
When variations occur that exceed the pre-established limits in memory of
PLD module regarding the oil pressure and temperature of the engine is an indication that something

The Rotation and PMS sensors have the same construction characteristics and
operation, both are inductive type sensors and do not receive positive power from
PLD module. Due to their structural arrangement, they have as their main
operating characteristics of the property of alternating current generators when
submitted to an appropriate working condition.
In each of these two sensors, the connection to the PLD module is made by
two terminals, one being the ground terminal and the other transmitting the sensor signal
for the module.
