1.1 INTRODUCTION

The pipe rack is a portal structure made of structural steel, consisting of two portals.
longitudinal of five spans with a column axis spacing of 2.50m and 6.00m
of light and by six transverse porticoes of 1 span whose spacing between column axes is
3.20m of light; these portals were structured using elements
ductile structural elements, formed by columns and metal beams.

The foundation of the pipe rack is made up of isolated footings, pedestals, and chains.
reinforced concrete; the footings for axes A and B are founded at a depth of 1.5m
measured from the finish grading level. For axes C, D, E, and F, the footings are
cemented at 1.0m depth measured from the finish grading level; these
Foundations rely on an improvement of 0.45m thickness made up of Slurry.
