INTRODUCTION
The aim of the working forum is to identify the administrative process and its phases in my workplace, to
this case will take place in a company that sells Cisco Telecom solutions, the process goes from when it
contact the client with the company, the purchase of the equipment, the design, management, implementation, support and
project billing.
This process will be represented in a process diagram, in which areas of opportunity will be sought.
propondrán puntos de mejora dentro del proceso administrativo. Este diagrama esta en alto nivel ya que cada
The area has subprocesses, thus highlighting the most outstanding or important activities or processes for the
implementation of a solution.
In this activity, the 7 stages of the administrative process will be explored, which are planning, organization,
direction, communication, communication barriers and oral and written language which are treated as a set of
administrative functions that are performed sequentially, their main purpose is to help the company to
make better use of its resources and achieve the objectives efficiently.
I base myself on three fundamental aspects: the application of the administrative process, technical principles, and the
division of labor. In addition to using a systematic approach or thinking that would help to visualize the
set of all the parts involved as a whole and thus define the way to solve a problem.
DIAGRAM
IDENTIFICATION OF THE PROBLEM
Within this diagram, several problems are identified, which are the following:
Not all areas have access to the company's internal system, for this reason not all areas
they have the same visibility of the status on the project, in addition to not documenting 100% of the project,
this problem is mapped in the areas of implementation and support.
There are high times in the purchase and delivery of equipment, which delays the mapped activities.
work plan and release for project billing, this problem is mapped in the area of
purchases.
There are usually details in the sizing, this impacts the final solution, this problem is mapped.
in the pre-sales area.
The documents are released without prior validation from all areas, this problem is mapped in the areas.
pre-sales, implementation, and support.
Once the implementation is completed, there is no follow-up with the client to validate.
invoices that can be exploited on the network with the acquired equipment.
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
The points for improvement in this process are presented:
All areas must have access to the system to have visibility of the project status, also
it would help to have 100% documentation.
Involucrar en todo el proceso al área de compras para no afectar los tiempos de entrega de equipos, en
which results in the creation of a document that informs the status of the delivery both
internally as well as to the client.
There should be participation from the implementation and support areas from the design process, to
avoid the lack of considerations or have a broader vision during the sizing.
Validation of the documents released by all the involved areas.
Conduct support sessions with the client to validate improvements or implementation of invoices
that benefit the operation.
