Specification Document of the Mini Project

PRESENTATION OF THE SYSTEM

Electronic thermometers allow for the measurement of air temperature, liquids,

materials, with a very high accuracy. An electronic thermometer consists of a
temperature sensor and electronic components that have the role of processing
the information and make it usable through use. Our project will consist of creating a
electronic thermometer that allows measuring and displaying temperature via L.C.D.
This takes the form of an electronic card to replace a column of a
classic thermometer.

MAIN OBJECTIVE

Create an electronic thermometer that displays the temperature.

Display the temperature on an LCD screen.

Display the date and time on an L.C.D. screen.

REALIZATION

The temperature will need to be captured using a temperature sensor, our choice will be on
the LM35. In order to process the information we will use the Pic18f4520 microcontroller to
control the display of the date, time, and temperature. It will be necessary to perform beforehand
a voltage adaptation, indeed our board will be powered by the EDF mains (220 volts
alternative)

͛
The final map template will be created using the ISIS Proteus software.

To program, we will use the MikroC for Pic software.
