Introduction :

In today’s fast-paced digital world, accessing quality healthcare should be


easy, quick, and reliable. The Smart Telemedicine and Pharmacy
Management System is a web-based platform that allows patients to consult
doctors online, receive instant digital prescriptions, and locate nearby
pharmacies that stock the prescribed medicines. This system reduces the
need for physical hospital visits, saves time, and makes healthcare
accessible—especially during emergencies or for patients in remote areas. It
integrates online consultation, e-prescription, and pharmacy connectivity
into one centralized platform.

By providing real-time interactions and seamless medicine availability


tracking, the system aims to enhance healthcare delivery and promote
digital health practices. It is designed to be user-friendly, secure, and
scalable for clinics, hospitals, or individual healthcare providers.

Existing System :

Currently, many patients rely on separate apps or manual processes for


doctor consultations and then physically visit pharmacies, which may or may
not have the prescribed medicines. This fragmented process is time-
consuming and inconvenient. There is no unified system that connects
doctors, patients, and pharmacies efficiently in one platform.

1. User (Patient) Registration and Login

2. Doctor Registration and Consultation Module

3. E-Prescription Generation

4. Pharmacy Locator Based on Prescription


5. Admin Panel for User/Doctor/Pharmacy Management

Functionalities Introducing in the Project :

1. Real-time video/audio consultation with doctors

2. Online prescription generation and storage

3. Pharmacy availability checker for prescribed medicines

4. User profile with medical history and past consultations

5. Admin dashboard to manage system operations.

Minimum Software Requirements to Run the Project :

 Operating System:

Windows 7 or higher, macOS, Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 or higher)

 Software Requirements:

Web Browser: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge

 Internet Connection: Required to access and run the platform
