The maps illustrate the layout of the ground floor of a library in

2001, and the change that had occurred in 2009.


There are several changes at the bottom half of the floor. The
self- help has their sizes reduced to accommodate more
construction, now have two more facilities have been built-in it
that a history in left corner and a fiction in the middle of us. The
librarian’s desk and the stairs nearby remains, there are two
computers on the right side of the floor have been constructed.
The removal and modernization of some facilities have also
been witnessed on the top of and middle parts of the floor. The
fiction has been upgraded and become a Flims and DVDs after
that it replaced to the newspaper and periodicals. Meanwhile the
newspaper and periodicals have theirs sizes expanded and turned
into a children’s book. The history on the right side of the floor
have been resized to introduce more facilities. It was replaced to
a kitchen next to the self-help, economics in the middle of them
and a law at left corner. At the middle of the floor, the tables
were relocated slightly and arranged in two parallel rows,
making room for a newly constructed children’s area.
Overall, a prominent area in this floor has undergone a size
reduction, and some facilities experienced a little to no change
that helps more buildings to be constructed and redeveloped.

In the bottom half ot the floor, several modifications were made.
The self-help section was reduced in size to make space for
additional facilities, namely a history section in the bottom left
corner and a fiction section located just above it. The librarian’s
desk and the nearby stairs remained in place, while two
computer stations were introduced on the right-hand side.
Significant alterations also occurred in the top and middle parts
of the floor. The formeer fiction area was converted into a films
and DVDs section, replacing the perivous newspaper nad
periodicals area. Meanwhile, the newspaper and periodicals
section was expanded and transformed into children’s book area.
The history section on the left-hand side was replaced by three
new facilities: a law section in the top of left corner, an
economics section beneath it, and a kitchen next to the self-help
area. In the central space, the original arrangement of tables was
modified. The tables were relocated slightly and placed in two
parallel rows, creating room for a newly constructed children’s
area in upper central part.
Overall, the ground floor saw a reduction in the size of some
existing section and the introduction of several new facilities,
resulting in a more diversified and modernized library layout.
