This course is about corporate financial reporting – the form and content of the mandatory
financial information disclosed by the firms to the external parties (e.g., shareholders). The course
is designed to provide the student with an understanding of the underlying concepts and the
classification and measurement rules for tangible and intangible assets, liabilities and stockholders’
equity and other related accounting issues laid down in the International Financial Reporting
