Significance of the Study

The findings of the study would be beneficial to the following people:

The administrators could get an idea on some alternative platforms that

would sustain the quality education through integrating technology in teaching

mathematics especially during this COVID-19 pandemic;

SAMPLE
The teachers would be able to engage themselves in incorporating and

maximizing the use of multimedia that would engage learners and satisfy their

learning needs;

The students would be able to learn effectively and independently at their

convenience. It would also motivate them in learning the lessons better through the

constant presence of their teachers in the created video despite the distance

learning arrangement, and

Future researchers would be able to utilize the data in their studies on

effective strategies and alternative platforms that would address unprecedented

events such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

important and commonly used terms are defined operationally as utilized in the

study.

Academic Performance. The knowledge gained by the learners in Statistics

and Probability is assessed through the grades achieved by the students per the

learning objectives met.

Conventional Teaching Method. It is a traditional teaching approach that

involves direct instruction by the teacher. Learning happens when the teacher pass

knowledge to students and conduct testing and assessment.
