1. Identify tools and equipment for cutting and shaping in the following
trade areas
1. Block Work / Bricklaying (Building Site)
Purpose: Cutting and shaping blocks or bricks to size.
Tools & Equipment:
Hammer and Chisel: For splitting blocks or bricks.
Bolster Chisel: Specifically designed for cutting bricks and blocks
Trowel: Used to shape and spread mortar.
Spirit Level & Square: For aligning and shaping brickwork.
Masonry File: For smoothing rough edges of blocks.
2. Workshop (General / Carpentry)
Purpose: Cutting and shaping wood or other general materials.
