ARTICLE WRITING (REVISION)
Points to remember :
FORMAT---
1) Write the heading/title --
a) This should be brief and written in maximum 5-6words.
b) Should be attractive/ engaging enough to draw the attention of the readers.
c) Use the theme of the article from the question to form your heading.
2) Then below the heading write the name of the writer as given in your question or
create a fictitious name or write XYZ/ABC.
3) Divide your article in 4 – 5 paragraphs
a) Introduction : Start with a quotation or some remarkable facts or statistics.
Then explain what the article is about.
b) Explain the different issues related to the topic. Analyze them. Discuss the
current scenario, etc.
c) Conclude with suggestions/views. End with a hopeful note preferably or may be
a question.
d) Do not deviate from the main point. Double check for grammatical accuracy and
spellings.
4) Word limit : Write within 120 – 150 words.

affects land, water, air, wildlife & human population, etc.).
6) Growing Changes In Gender Roles. (Hints:-Factors responsible –changes in family
structure, education, media’s role ,etc. Mention traditional concepts on gender roles,
today’s initiatives for women empowerment, transformation of men’s role with
extensive involvement in family responsibility, especially for child care, etc.).
7) The Impact Of The Global Pandemic ON The Youth/Students.
8) The Importance Of Yoga In Maintaining The Physical And Mental Health.
9) Education Of The Girl Child In India. (Hints:-Include govt. initiatives like – Sarva
