1. From Pending to Processing
An order starts in the Pending state when it's first created. To move it forward, a warehouse worker
needs to begin acting on it.
Triggering Action: Creating a Pick List for the order.
Where it Happens: On the Orders > Order Processing page or the Orders > Workflow Board, you'll find
an action menu for each Pending order. Selecting "Create Pick List" is the primary trigger.
Result: The system generates a list of items and their locations for a picker to collect. As soon as this
list is created, the order's status automatically updates to Processing, and it moves to the 'Processing'
column on the workflow board.
2. From Processing to Ready for Pickup
An order remains in Processing while the items are being picked.
Triggering Action: Marking a completed Pick List as "Packed".
Where it Happens: In the Operations > Picking page, a picker marks all items on the pick list as
collected. The completed pick list then appears in the Operations > Packing & Shipping page under the
"Ready to Pack" section. A packer then confirms the items are packed and clicks the "Mark as
Packed" button.
Result: This action signifies that the order is boxed up and ready to be shipped. The system
automatically updates the order's status to Ready for Pickup, moving it to the corresponding column

3. From Ready for Pickup to Shipped
