Description: This course emphasizes the importance of user-centered design in CS. Students will learn to develop
applications and systems with a focus on user needs and organizational contexts.
Key areas include HCI principles, user analysis, human factors, accessibility, and cognitive psychology.
Objectives: Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
Apply cognitive principles to interface and product design.
Explain core concepts like affordance, conceptual models, and feedback.
Analyze diverse user populations and their interaction with software and hardware.
