IDEA#1by alex, considering the school’s expectations and brain

power, as well as the difficulty (since this is quite a very common problem, if we choose this
topic, it’ll be better accepted by the teachers and students because it is quite relatable.)
A display of how students at school would so much rather socialize with their preferred social
circles, and would often be judgmental towards other people (BASICALLY LIKE US BEING THE
“OTHER PEOPLE”) making it difficult to make friends, and school projects performance always
being unbalanced, eg. the smart are always with the smarts, the effortless are with the
effortless.
call this “Kesenjangan Sosial dalam Kehidupan Bersekolah”
eg. The story can focus on the life of a cast away, a student with differences that most
people don’t accept. We show her struggles, her solitude, and her resolve, finding friends
that would like to hang with em.
The story will display a school environment, it could start with a few scenes of how the class is
always divided in 4 groups or something. Like different events, evening, morning, afternoon, and
the same 4-5 groups of students are always together chatting, students being in their own circle
[Link] group of kids are shown to have very distinctive traits of their own, but let’s just
make one of the groups filled with very passionate students with hobbies, then the other a
bunch of girls gossiping about other students and talking bad about em, and another group are
a bunch of boys destroying school facilities and being extremely crude, another group consists
of very lazy kids, ect.
Then it moves to a point where a group school project must be done, students are seen in
visible distress as they don’t want to split up from their preferred peers > students are shown
NOT wanting to work with that specific person and talking bad about them > the cast away
student is seen having a frowned look and being completely alone in an environment filled with
disagreement > many instances see how group projects are always extremely unbalanced with
their results > one result is very good, one result is extremely effortless > in the end, this
castaway student will meet the friends that accepts her.

Details:
Scene 1: camera facing on top of the class and there's 4 groups on each corner, maybe a bit

messy is fine.
(I'll try to SC another view cuz this isn't on top)
And for different “Like different events, evening, morning, afternoon, and the same 4-5 groups
of students are always together chatting, students being in their own circle talking.”
We can just do something similar like the image.
Scene 2: shows from each team perspective, the camera will be put behind each team so I can
capture how it should be seen. As if the camera is in each corner, and since each group has
different antics I might have to make more 3d scenes about the school. Like hallways, in the
class, (only 2 please)

SONG+VIDEO OUTLINE
Whole numbers like (1, 2, 3) represent a drawing. Decimals like (2,1 or 2,2) shows little alteration
to an original drawing, like the same drawing with a different facial expression, or a different
colour.

5(children): Three sprites of Mana visibly attempting to change her physical appearance to fit in
(Mana putting black eyeliner in confusion, Mana holding two pairs of clothing and deciding
which one, Mana curling her hair in confusion and desperation. She is supposed to resemble
Girl A) interchanging every four beats.

- I watch you (now I let it go) (And I watch as things play out like)

6: Mana looks at Girl A from a distance in school hallways, in a crowd full of Girl A’s friends. Girl
A is golden.

- So long nice to know you I'll be (8) Moooving onn

7: Mana is intently watching Girl A, 7.1: Mana looks upset in the hallways, 8: Fade transition,

she lends a hand touching the mirror, seeing a reflection of herself, in white.

(SONG INSTRUMENT) : Mana walks, she shows determination over time. The background
constantly changes according to the song’s four beats, to show that time goes by.

- Into viewwww
- I'm not into youuuu, Into youuu {say it lower and lower but longer}

IDEA#2 Suggestion by clarissa for the animation video music,
First scene a student male/female walks in the hallway (empty plis, no music yet), meets
another friend that shows smth fomo and asks “have they gotten it” or “doesnt it look cute?”And
stuff. Student feels pressured and agree, tries to talk abt smth else that the friend said its “gross”
or “outdated” or smth idk jokingly or not(music already started, maybe a bit anxious vibe). Then
they walk together to meet more friends that is all fomo and ask abt the student as well, (more
deep scared anxious song or stuff). Then there's a lomba for the class to send participants or
mewakili, the student have a hobby or skill in smth (maybe drawing and wants to go in the
drawing competition), but the class already have someone popular to choose and when the
student tells the teacher he/she wants to do it, the teacher say smth to just back down and do
another competition
Leo suggested for the testing blender scene that Clarissa made, the door before the stairs can
be used to be an apartment room for the student to go in and start to music where the student
can cry or smth

IDEA#3 Can I suggest something else for the story (michelle)

Suggestion :
Kid has hobbies and enjoys something that's “weird” For them to enjoy and they have trouble in
school making friends and focusing on studying. So they end up feeling alienated, their peers
think they're weird and their teachers don't help them other than force them to conform or act
normal. So several scenes of people in their lives telling them to act more normal.

We can do two different characters where one of them gives in and masks around people in
order to make friends and get into a clique, except they're not happy at all and wish they could
be themselves without losing their friends.
And the other one refuses to conform, affecting their relationship with their family and school
because people are just not understanding.
The difference can be anything (the way they dress, maybe they have a learning disability, or
what they enjoy doesn't conform with how society sees them like if a boy likes pink and if a girl
likes mechas or sports) (this is Clarissa, just saying I feel like Petra kids doesn't really bother
with of a boy likes pink or a girls become tomboy)

SONG SUGGESTION: (Mario) Ok so; hear me out; what if we used Tek It? The lyrics
may not match (however, we could just use its instrumental), but the vibe of the song may work!
(Which is why just using the instrumental would also work). The teacher has never mentioned
anything about needing vocals, either.

BTS AND CREDIT: Use the song “No roots” with each of us lining up (not really set, just make
sure all of us is available) no roots | jujutsu kaisen season 1 - YouTube<- reference.
We can make the first few freeze scene as an introduction and role (ex. Clarissa, 3D
Background Designer) and then the few last as our bloopers and stuff, btw since i already make
the “no roots” blender stuff video i was thinking on putting in behind the credit scene with the
opacity lowered.

Common questions

Powered by AI

Peer influence significantly impacts decision-making, as shown when students alter their behaviors and preferences to align with group norms, driven by a desire for acceptance. This behavior reflects real-world tendencies where individuals often prioritize social conformity over personal desires, affecting decisions from lifestyle choices to career paths .

Mana's experiences illustrate that peer relationships significantly impact self-identity. Feeling disconnected from peers leads Mana to undergo superficial changes to fit in, indicating how the need for acceptance can pressure individuals to alter their appearance and behavior. Over time, these experiences shape Mana's self-perception and highlight the struggle between maintaining individuality and seeking social acceptance .

Being 'the castaway' or a non-conformist in school often results in psychological effects such as loneliness, reduced self-esteem, and identity confusion. These students may experience social anxiety, depression, and a constant internal battle to balance self-acceptance with the longing for peer acceptance .

Narrative techniques such as visual storytelling, internal monologues, and symbolism are utilized to evoke empathy for marginalized characters. Depicting Mana in contrasting colors represents her loneliness amidst vibrant peers, while her internal struggle and attempts to fit in deepen empathy by highlighting her emotional vulnerabilities and desires for acceptance .

Artistic design and character portrayals enhance storytelling by visually representing the internal and external conflicts faced by students. The use of color symbolism differentiates emotions, while character expressions and body language convey nuanced feelings of exclusion and aspiration, thereby enriching the narrative's emotional depth and relatability .

The storyboard and song elements collaboratively narrate a journey of self-discovery and personal growth through visual and auditory cues. For example, the changing background illustrating the passage of time aligns with the song's mood shifts, symbolizing Mana's evolving mindset. Musical transitions, paired with visual metaphors like mirrors, reinforce themes of introspection and transformation from conformity to self-acceptance .

Artistic talents in schools are often overshadowed by popularity, with students facing barriers such as being overlooked in favor of popular peers for opportunities like competitions, and receiving little support from teachers. This discourages students with unique talents from pursuing their passions due to a lack of recognition and support .

The depiction of group divisions in schools mirrors societal issues of inclusion and exclusion by demonstrating how individuals are sorted into groups based on superficial differences, such as interests or behaviors. This microcosm reflects societal tendencies to form cliques, creating barriers to inclusivity and increasing social fragmentation, where acceptance is contingent upon conformity to group norms .

Conformity plays a crucial role in social acceptance; students who conform to peer norms are more likely to be accepted, while those who do not may feel alienated and have strained relationships. Non-conformity can lead to isolation and pressure to change, as students may be forced to mask their true selves, which affects their happiness and social connections .

The social dynamic in school groups affects project performance as students tend to form groups based on social preferences rather than abilities, leading to imbalanced results. Smart students often group together, producing better outcomes, while less motivated students also cluster, resulting in less effective projects .
