 INTRODUCTION

OnlineExams is being launched because a need for a destination that is beneficial for
both institutes and students. With this site, institutes can register and host online exams.
Students can give exams and view their results. This site is an attempt to remove the
existing flaws in the manual system of conducting exams.

Online Exams System fulfills the requirements of the institutes to conduct the exams
online. They do not have to go to any software developer to make a separate site for
being able to conduct exams online. They just have to register on the site and enter the
exam details and the lists of the students which can appear in the exam. Students can
give exam without the need of going to any physical destination. They can view the
result at the same time.
Thus the purpose of the site is to provide a system that saves the efforts and time of
both the institutes and the students.

 OBJECTIVE

The e-Examination objectives are:-

▪ To provide an interface through which student can appear for examination online for
objective as well as subjective type questions.
▪ To provide registration for students done by themselves.
▪ To not provide facility of copy and paste while attempting the Subjective questions on
the web page.
▪ When the student starts the exam the timer will start automatically and show the
student how much time is left.
▪ The questions will be display randomly from question bank.
▪ Objective answers will be checked automatically by the system from the database
▪ For subjective answer manually checking by exam department will take place.
▪ To provided user name and password facility and credentials should be checked
properly at the time of login for student, expert, controller and Exam Dept Admin.
▪ To provide an interface from where controller will create new Expert and Admin for
Exam Dept.
▪ The authority to modify the criteria is provided to the controller of examination.
▪ To facilitate Experts to send a collection of questions in Question Bank.
▪ The Exam Dept will manage the question bank sent by experts.
▪ To facilitate Exam Dept Admin to make schedule and declare Result.

 PROJECT CATEGORY
This project is titled “e-Examination” . e-Examination software is implement under the “Java”
language. The e-Examination is developed for reduce the human effort. Through the e-
Examination it is easy to provide an interface through which student can appear for examination
online. Through the people reviews the person knows about the online exmination. In Java it is

easy to facilitate Experts to send a collection of questions in Question Bank & to manage the question
bank sent by experts.. Through online, it is easy to facilitate Exam Dept Admin to make schedule
and declare Result.

 MODULES
Administrator:-
In this module administrator login their id and password through which they can some
modification related to the exam. In this module they will delete the question and unnecessary
information related to the exam. Here, administrator set the question through the exam which
is conducted by the author.

User:-
In the user, here student will register through the website. When the student register through
the they will get and id password through which they login and see the updates of the exam.
Here student read the rules and regulation of the online exam. On the day of examination
student use their their id and password through which student will give the exam. After taking
the exam student will show their result on their register id.

 FUTURE SCOPE
The scope of the e-Examination is very bright. In today’s life most the institute prefer to
conduct the online examination. Through this student fill their form and they get examthrough
the online services. So future is very bright. In the upcoming generation, it will become a
fashion to conduct the online exam. Through online examiantion they reduce effort and it is
easy to manged online exam. It is secure process and friendly for the students and exmiantion
conducted . There is no chance to leak the paper. Online examination is easy to schedule and
information about related to the examination through the internet. They reduce the time and
they will not get anyway through their device they fill the form and know the information. So,
online exmiantion is easy and user friendly for the people and the future scope is bright..
