RATIONALE OF THE ACTIVITY

In the pursuit of enhancing literacy and student engagement, integrating


interactive activities and games into reading instruction has proven to be an effective
strategy. These methods not only make learning enjoyable but also foster deeper
comprehension, critical thinking, and collaboration among learners.

This Learning Action Cell (LAC) session aims to equip teachers with creative
approaches to developing reading materials that incorporate interactive games.
Through collaborative planning, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, participants
will explore game-based learning techniques that can be embedded into reading
lessons. The session encourages teachers to reflect on their current practices, share
innovative ideas, and design engaging reading materials tailored to their students’
needs.

By the end of the session, teachers will be empowered to create dynamic reading
experiences that promote literacy and active participation in the classroom.
