From this point, the router will initialize disregarding the file with the configuration.

Follow the steps below to reconfigure the new password while preserving the client's configuration!
1-In the router prompt use the command screen length disable to prevent
pagination.
2-Execute the command display saved-configuration
3-Select all the configuration, copy and paste it into a notepad, wordpad file.

4-Still in the text editor locate the lines:
local-user 'type the new user'
Type the new password
5- On the router prompt, enter configuration mode by typing system view
6-Copy/Paste the new script to the router, now the router operates in Real-time with the
client configuration but with the new password.
7-Save as [Link]
save [Link] confirm with 'yes'
[huawei]quit you CTRL +Z
reboot confirm with 'yes'

On the PC, configure the TFTP: point to the directory where the VRP is located:

2- configure the IP to the PC(host) = [Link]
3- Connect the crossover cable (PC x Router ETH0)
