my 21 days internship at The Bombay Burmah Traning Corporation Limited ,I had the
chance to observe and understand the workflow of each [Link] unit played
a significant role in turning raw materials into finished Tea products, and Together they
maintained the efficiency of the organization.

1. Estate Management Department

This department is the backbone of the estate operations. It is headed by the Estate
Manager/Senior Manager, who is responsible for overall planning, supervision, and
coordination of activities. Their key functions include land management, cultivation
planning, labor allocation, and ensuring smooth operations across departments.

2. Production / Plantation Department

This department oversees the cultivation, harvesting, and primary processing of crops
such as tea, coffee, or other estate produce. The focus is on maintaining quality
standards, maximizing yield, and ensuring sustainable agricultural practices.
Supervisors and field officers monitor daily work, pest control, irrigation, and soil
management.
