Alice in Wonderland Characters

Alice - A spunky girl who enjoys adventures and is on a journey of self-discovery.


She should be charming and sweet, a strong singer and actor. Girl

Small Alice - Small version of Alice, strong speaking role, small singing solo. Girl

Tall Alice - Tall version of Alice, small speaking role. Girl

The Cheshire Cat - Played by 3 actors. Narrator of the show, strong speaking
and timing skills needed. Girls or Boys

White Rabbit - An energetic, worrisome character that hardly ever stops moving.
Strong Speaking and Singing Role. Girl or Boy

Tweedle Dum - Part of a pair of goofballs similar to old comedy teams like Abbott
& Costello or Laurel & Hardy. Singing and speaking role. Girl or Boy

Tweedle Dee - Part of a pair of goofballs similar to old comedy teams like Abbott

Mathilda - Mathilda is Alice's older sister, she is very smart and confident. Small

Queen of Hearts - The Queen of Hearts is the big mean bully of the story. Must
have a commanding presence and should be a little scary, but funny at the same

Dodo Bird - The Captain of the Queen's Navy. He/She is in command of the
lobsters and other animals and is another of Wonderland's vibrant characters.
Speaking and Singing Role. Girl or Boy

King of Hearts - The King of Hearts is the often forgotten ruler of Wonderland.
Speaking role. Boy

Doorknob - Doorknob leading into Wonderland. Speaking Role. Girl or Boy

Rock Lobsters - 2-4 Actors. Members of the Queen’s army. Girls or Boys

Ensemble - Various Wonderland creatures, Royal Cardsmen, and other fun


roles! Ensemble members will sing and dance throughout the show, carrying the
plot and adding fun elements to the scenes.
