Introduction
Our Portal has the power to make difference in our community. This
platform is designed for the people to report various concerns, from
potholes to abandoned animals causing inconvenience, allowing us to
work together towards a safer, cleaner, and more efficient
neighbourhood.
All one has to do is to click the picture or make a video of the trouble,
and it reaches to the concerned departments, after the which the issue is
addressed with proper care. Enter the live location, which assures that
the work is done at that particular spot. One can describe the issue as
well, in his/her own words. The reports matter and together can ensure a
better environment for everyone.
Problem Statement and Motivation
It is a website where people can report complaints about streetlights,
potholes, abandoned vehicles, animals, and pavement management. This
is because these issues can be a nuisance and a safety hazard to
residents. For example, potholes can cause damage to cars and make it
difficult for people to walk or bike. Abandoned vehicles can be an
eyesore and a safety hazard, as they can be used for crime. Animals can
be a nuisance and a safety hazard, as they can carry diseases and attack
people. Pavement management is important for ensuring that roads and
sidewalks are safe and in good condition.
The motivation is to provide a way for people to report these issues in a
convenient and easy-to-use way. This will help to ensure that these
issues are addressed in a timely manner. Additionally, here the people
can leave their comments, which helps in maintaining the transparency
in knowing whether the issue has been resolved or not.

Working:
This website work needs a proper internet connection for, we’ll be
making the option for submitting the images/videos of the problems on
the portal, available which helps in easy identification as we are also
enabling the user to submit their live location link which helps in easy
tracing of the spot.
The user can choose the category for which he/she wants to file a
complaint for and there exists a complaint form in it.
It becomes of great help if the user also enters the comment/review
on the website which ultimately helps in maintaining the transparency of
the system, whether the issue has been resolved or not.
Implementation:
HTML Use:
Using HTML, we created the input area(form) where the
complaints are inserted and a button to submit the complaint.
It also helped in structuring the web page, as we used it for
even styling the web page.
Below are few glimpses of our working:
CSS Use:
Using CSS, we styled the web page and its layout. Font and its colour
is altered. Below are few glimpses of our working on CSS.
JAVASCRIPT Use:
JS is used to add dynamic behaviour to our website. Here we
used it to manage the data base of our project as well.
Conclusion:
The website helps in bringing the complaints into notice to
several people out there and eventually the concerned authority
also may use it for considering the complaints of the people.
The people hold the main role in this project where their honest
reviews and the complaints that they would register would
definitely bring the significant change in our surroundings.
It overall helps in easing out the complaint management system
and helps in maintaining the transparency.
The issues faced by the people get reported here and are
resolved in timely manner.
