Project Title:
Development of End-of-Semester English Exam Questions for Grade VII (Odd Semester)

Objective:
To design and develop End-of-Semester English exam questions that assess both LOTS (Lower-
Order Thinking Skills) and HOTS (Higher-Order Thinking Skills) in alignment with the
Merdeka Curriculum.

Task Distribution

1. Ahmad Hafiz

 Responsibilities:
o Developed 10 vocabulary-based questions, including multiple-choice, matching,
and fill-in-the-blank formats.
o Selected vocabulary relevant to Grade VII students in the odd semester.
 Output:
o 10 LOTS questions assessing basic vocabulary mastery.

2. Danisya Al Jura

 Responsibilities:
o Created 10 grammar-based questions focusing on Simple Present Tense, Simple
Past Tense, Present Continuous Tense, and Comparative & Superlative
Adjectives.
o Ensured a variety of question types, including multiple-choice and sentence
completion.
 Output:
o 10 LOTS questions assessing grammar comprehension.

3. Gustiawan

 Responsibilities:
o Prepared reading comprehension questions using short passages suitable for
Grade VII students.
o Created 10 questions testing students' ability to identify the main idea and specific
details.
 Output:
o 10 LOTS questions based on reading passages.

4. Nadia Putri

 Responsibilities:
o Designed writing-based questions, including simple essays and sentence
completion tasks.
o Focused on encouraging students to think creatively and organize their ideas in
English.
 Output:
o 5 essay questions and 5 sentence-completion questions for LOTS and HOTS.

5. Riza Wardhana

 Responsibilities:
o Developed 5 HOTS questions to assess critical thinking and problem-solving
skills.
o Created a scoring rubric for essay questions to ensure consistent and fair
evaluation.
o Compiled the answer key for all questions.
 Output:
o 5 HOTS questions and a scoring rubric for essays.

Team Collaboration

1. Initial Discussion:
All group members participated in determining the scope of the questions, the format,
and task distribution.
2. Question Development:
Each member completed their assigned task, focusing on their respective areas of
expertise.
3. Review Process:
All questions were reviewed collaboratively to ensure alignment with the Merdeka
Curriculum and consistency across sections.
4. Finalization:
o Ahmad Hafiz acted as the coordinator to ensure all questions were in the correct
format.
o Nadia Putri ensured that the questions fit within the allocated time (90 minutes).
5. Submission:
o Riza Wardhana compiled the answer key, scoring rubric, and the final report.
