Report of the event
The IIC of VSIT-VIPS successfully organized workshop to celebrate “World Entrepreneurs
Day” on 28th August 2024 at 10:30 AM onwards. The activity was assigned as IIC
Celebration activity. The objective of the event was to highlight the value of
entrepreneurship, role of innovation within society and leadership.
The event was organized under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mamta Madan, Dr. Anupama Jha
and Dr. Neha Gupta. Total students participated were approximately 90. Sessions with key
speakers were organized followed by the question answer session.
The event aimed to provide students with the significance of entrepreneurship and the
evolving landscape of opportunities and challenges in the start-up ecosystem. The session
provided valuable guidance, allowing students to engage directly with experienced
entrepreneurs, gaining insights into industry trends and practical knowledge. Students also
received a comprehensive understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset, key strategies, and
the critical steps needed to navigate the journey from idea to successful venture.

technologies into education is crucial for fostering scientific temperament and preparing
future innovators.
Role of Incubation Centers: Incubation centers play a vital role in helping entrepreneurs by
providing funding, resources, and support to transform ideas into viable prototypes and
businesses.
Public-Private Collaboration: Effective public-private partnerships and policy reforms are
essential for advancing sectors like space technology and supporting startups. Collaborations
have enabled new opportunities and funding avenues for entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurial Hustle and Resilience: Entrepreneurship requires more than financial
investment; it demands significant hustle, especially in the initial stages. Success often
involves working hard, adapting to emerging technologies, and navigating challenges from
the ground up.
Building and Leading a Core Team: Identifying and working with team members who align
with your vision and idea is crucial. Key qualities for a successful core team include
knowledge, vision, resilience, and compatibility.
Defining Your Own Journey: Entrepreneurs should focus on defining their own path, finding a
unique niche, and avoiding generic approaches. Emphasis should be placed on pushing
products, finding ways to make money, and making strategic decisions.
Exploring Opportunities: Emerging fields like space tourism, space laws, and innovative
sectors provide significant opportunities. It is important to stay open to new ventures and
evolving industries to leverage these opportunities effectively.
