Midterm Performance Task: Informative Advertisements on Sexual Self
Objective
To create informative, creative advertisements that educate others about the
importance of sexual health, inclusivity, and responsible choices in
preventing risks and promoting positive attitudes toward sexuality.
Group Assignments (8 Groups)
1. Understanding STIs/HIV
o What they are, how they spread, and myths vs. facts.
2. Prevention of STIs & HIV
o Safe practices (abstinence, mutual monogamy, correct condom use,
medical check-ups).
3. Contraception Awareness
o Types (condoms, pills, injectables, IUDs, etc.), how they work, benefits,
and misconceptions.
4. Safe Sex Practices
o Emphasize dual protection (against pregnancy and STIs), importance of
being informed before engaging in sexual activity.
5. Consent and Respect in Relationships
o Why consent is important, respecting boundaries, and avoiding
coercion.
6. LGBTQIA+ Inclusivity and Respect
o Understanding diverse sexual orientations and gender identities,
fighting discrimination, promoting acceptance.
7. Body Positivity and Sexual Self-Esteem
o Building confidence, avoiding risky behaviors linked to low self-esteem,
respecting one’s own body.
8. Responsible Media and Online Behavior
o Dangers of sexting, oversharing, online harassment, and how to
protect one’s sexual self in the digital age.
Output Format
Video Advertisement (2–5 minutes) – may also be a jingle, skit,
infomercial, or poster with voiceover.
Must be creative, factual, and respectful.
Use slogans, visuals, and storytelling to make the message impactful.
