Introduction.

The Professional Practice (Internship) is defined as the set of activities


practical training performed by participants in companies or
public and private institutions, national and international, related to the
curricular proposal of the studies completed at the University, which will allow him/her
the integrated and selective application of knowledge, skills,
skills, attitudes, and values in the workplace.
The evaluation of the Professional Practice (Internship) is a continuous process and
systematic monitoring, assessment, and measurement to which the participant is subjected,

The professional practice or internship, depending on the place where it is developed, is
can be presented in two areas of application:
a) National Internship: When the Professional Practice (Internship) takes place in
a company or institution located in the territory of the Dominican Republic.
b) International Internship: When the Professional Practice (Internship) is developed
in a company or institution located outside the Dominican Republic.

PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE AGREEMENTS (INTERNSHIP) AND COMMITMENTS

each intern at the end of the process.

STRUCTURE, DIRECTOR PROFILE AND FUNCTIONS OF THE UNIT OF


INTERNSHIP.
ARTICLE 8: The Internship Unit as a dependency of the Department of
Graduates and Interns of the Vice-Rectorate of Extension, Services to the
Participants and International Relations is the body responsible for
organization, operation, supervision and control of the Internship and carries out its
functions with the cooperation and collaboration of the School Directors,
Coordinations of Schools and Internship Managers of the Venues and with the
Registration Department.
ARTICLE 9. The person in charge of the Internship Unit will be hired by a
renewable period of three (3) years of a shortlist presented by the Vice-Rectory of
Extension, Services to Participants, and International Relations.
ARTICLE 10: The functions of the Internship Unit are as follows:
a) Provide basic information to the participants about the Practice process
Professional (Internship).
b) Disclose the available positions for carrying out the Professional Practice (Internship)
in each semester.
c) Receive the internship application from the participant and evaluate it for approval or
rejection.
REGISTRATION OF PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE (INTERNSHIP).
ARTICLE 11: The Internship Unit, with the approval of the Management or
The Coordination of Schools will authorize the registration of the Professional Practice
