3. Download Geohot's Jailbreak from this link, and you should proceed in the same way as step 2, unpack the jailbreak and install it on your PS3 with
pendrive help.

4. To ensure that the jailbreak worked correctly, make sure that the item 'Install Package Files' has been added to your list.

5. Now we can install homebrew freely on our PS3. Let's now install the FTP client for the PS3. In this link you should
download theBlackB0x FTP TOOL.

6. Unzip the file, and inside there should be another .rar called ftpserver_12.rar, unzip it, and inside it there will be a file.

14. Click on the ray (CTRL + K) to connect to your Playstation, and then click on Quick Connect.

15. In the "Address or URL" field, enter the IP used by your PS3, the username and password can be anything, it won't make a difference.

16. Since we installed the loader, a directory called BLUS30418 was created inside dev_hd0/game

17. Unzip the game and go inside the folder USRDIR and delete the file [Link], as we will use what has already been installed by the loader.

18. Transfer the contents of the game's USRDIR directory from your PC to the dev_hd0/game/BLUS30418/USDIR directory, which already exists.

20. Start the game, but DO NOT UPDATE it. Then the game will be properly installed.

The idea is not exclusively piracy; nothing prevents you from unlocking your PS3 and continuing to buy original games.

But yes, being able to run homebrews on your console is much more fun than playing sometimes.

I don't see much advantage in unlocking the PS3 to play pirated games since Blu-ray recording is still very expensive and time-consuming.

Easy installation.

Disadvantages:
Depending on the size of the game, the transfer PS3 -> PC / PC -> PS3 takes some time (Of course! Sending via network).
You have to find the exact Loader for the game version (that's the problem).
There are some Loaders with bugs, for example: Red Dead Redemption: The 'link' to the game in the 'GAME' menu disappears every time you exit the game and you have to
repeat the whole procedure again.
The versions of the Loaders are distributed by regions (e.g., EUR and USA). If you install the EUR version, the error 80028F10 will appear, and then you already know that.
It gave an error. (There are some methods to bypass on YouTube, but I don't know if they work.)
The risk of Sony releasing an update. (Just don't update the firmware...lol).
The risk of the producers blocking the next release of copies (I don't know if this is possible..)

Final considerations:
Before doing the tutorial, I had updated my firmware to version 3.55, then I just had to install Geohot's Jailbreak, the problem was when.
install the BlackB0x FTP TOOL that I downloaded from the link here in the post, it was just giving errors, but with a little search I found the correct one for the
version 3.55, ([Link] the rest was calm.

For those who only like to play offline, it's really a good choice; I personally prefer to play online with people, playing pirated and offline is...
it's cheaper to invest in a PC.

You can play online peacefully.. because the hackers broke the identification key, and with that, they don't know what is original and what is pirated.
For them, everything is original, until now Sony said it will not update this, it just said that it already has a method for banning from PSN and even from
device (which I think is unlikely to happen) via the internet.
That's it!! Yesterday I died in Red Dead Redemption Online.. hehehe,
and another already has software that modifies the trophy system..(that's unfair).

Hello, I installed geohot's jailbreak just like in your tutorial and everything worked perfectly. I would like to ask if there is a way to uninstall it.
