This unit explores the concept of culture — the way people live, behave, and communicate.
Culture includes traditions, customs, values, beliefs, art, language, and clothing. It shapes
our identity and the way we see the world. Understanding different cultures helps us live
peacefully and avoid misunderstandings. In today’s global world, it is important to be
open-minded and tolerant toward others.

In this unit, students learn how to use English to:

Model Paragraph:

In Morocco, people celebrate Eid Al-Fitr at the end of Ramadan. Families


prepare traditional dishes like chebakia and rfissa. Everyone wears new clothes
and visits relatives to exchange greetings. It is a moment of joy, forgiveness,
and sharing. This tradition strengthens social bonds and preserves cultural
values.

Writing tips:

●​ Add linking words: first, then, afterwards, finally.​

●​ Use adjectives to make your paragraph more interesting: colorful, joyful, traditional,
