What a Candlestick Really Is
Each candlestick shows what happened to price during a specific time period (1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day,
etc.).
It has 4 main points:
Open: where price started
Close: where price ended
High: the highest price reached
Low: the lowest price reached
Visually:
High

└───────┘
Low
🟩 Green (or white) = price went up (close > open)
🟥 Red (or black) = price went down (close < open)
🧠 2. Easiest Way to Learn Candlestick Patterns
You don’t need to memorize 100+ patterns — just master the 6 that really matter:

Basics”
Step 2 — Practice on Demo
Open your MetaTrader 4 or 5 demo account.
Zoom in and out of charts.
Identify candlestick patterns on daily or 1-hour charts.
Write down what happens after each pattern.
Step 3 — Build a mini cheat sheet
Example:
Hammer → Bullish signal → Buy near support
Shooting Star → Bearish signal → Sell near resistance
Doji → Wait, no trade yet
Keep it near your screen — you’ll remember faster by seeing and using.
⚙️4. Tips to Master Faster
✅ Study only 2–3 pairs (e.g., EUR/USD, GBP/USD) — simpler patterns.
✅ Combine candlesticks with support/resistance zones — not alone.
✅ Take screenshots of good patterns and keep a “pattern diary.”
✅ Don’t rush — focus on accuracy, not quantity.
📈 5. Practice Challenge (7 Days)
Do this for a week:
Each day, spot 3 candle patterns on your demo chart.
Write what happened next.
After 7 days, you’ll start recognizing patterns naturally — no memorization needed.
