Good morning to everyone present here. My name is Devik Hooda and I am a student of grade 7 th A.

Today I am going to
speak a few lines on the topic “Technology: Advantages and Disadvantages.”

Technology means using science, machines, and tools to solve problems and make life easier. From simple calculators to
modern mobiles, technology is everywhere around us.

The advantages of technology are many. It helps us talk quickly with people through phones and video calls. It makes
travel easy with cars, trains, and airplanes. In education, computers and online classes help students learn better. In
hospitals, modern machines save the lives of patients.

But technology also has some disadvantages. Too much use of mobiles or games makes people lazy and unhealthy.
Children waste time on social media instead of studying. Machines sometimes take away jobs from workers. Also,
technology causes pollution and waste, which is harmful for our earth.

So, in the end, I would say that technology is like a friend if we use it wisely, but it can be a problem if we misuse it. We
should always use technology in a smart and careful way.

on Technology and its pros and cons.

Technology means the use of scientific knowledge, tools, and machines to solve problems and make life easier. From the
invention of the wheel in ancient times to the mobile phones and satellites of today, technology has always helped
humans progress. It is present in our homes, schools, hospitals, transport, offices, and even in space research.

The advantages of technology are many. It saves time and effort. Earlier sending letters took days, but now messages
reach within seconds through the internet. In education, technology helps students through smart classes, online study
material, and digital libraries. In medicine, it saves lives by advanced machines and treatments. It also provides
entertainment through television, music, and games. In industries and agriculture, it increases production and helps in
the growth of the economy.

But technology also has some disadvantages. Overuse of mobiles and computers can make people lazy and unhealthy.
Many students get addicted to social media and online games, wasting precious time. Machines also take away human
jobs, creating unemployment. Technology has harmful effects on the environment because of pollution and e-waste.
There are also problems like cybercrimes, online fraud, privacy loss, and less family time.

So, in a nutshell, technology is a double-edged sword. If used wisely, it is our friend and makes life easier. But if misused,
it can be dangerous for health, society, and the environment.
