The Opportunity
Join our Merchant Services team as a Java Developer and become part of our
mission to shape the future of payments technology. You'll work within a dynamic
cross-functional environment, contributing to innovative payment solutions that
address persistent challenges in the fintech market. This role offers the opportunity
to collaborate with diverse experts while building scalable software solutions that
enable sustainable economic growth and reinforce trust in digital payments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality software solutions while taking ownership of product
increments in each sprint, ensuring usability and adherence to coding standards
• Collaborate with Product Owners to clarify requirements, manage sprint backlogs,
and provide technical solutions to support agile development processes
• Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and adapt plans effectively to meet
sprint goals
• Communicate technical changes and impacts clearly to stakeholders while
maintaining transparency
• Drive continuous improvement within the team through proactive approach and
commitment to excellence
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show
what's next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow.
In practice this means:
• 6 to 15 years of proven experience in Java development with strong
understanding of Java 11+ and Object-Oriented Programming principles
• Expertise in Spring Boot and building scalable microservices architectures • Solid
experience with testing methodologies and frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra) and data
modeling best practices
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka for real-time data
streaming
• Proficiency with Docker, container orchestration, and deployment processes in
cloud or on-premise environments
• Knowledge of infrastructure tools such as Puppet, Hiera, Ansible, and Terraform
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and log aggregation systems (Loki, Kibana,
telemetry) for ensuring system availability
• DevOps mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and excellent communication
abilities in collaborative team environments
