Introduction (Giới thiệu bài học)
Giáo viên chiếu hình ảnh 3 địa danh nổi tiếng:
Eiffel Tower (Paris) 🇫🇷
Colosseum (Rome) 🇮🇹
Singapore 🇸🇬
"Do you know these places?" (Các em có biết những địa điểm này không?)
"Have you ever seen them in movies or pictures?" (Các em đã thấy chúng trong phim
hay hình ảnh chưa?)
" If you travel to these places, do you think you can do everything you want?" (Nếu
các em đi du lịch đến đây, các em có thể làm mọi thứ mình muốn không?)
Can you eat everywhere? Can you climb on the Eiffel tower? Can you do everything
you want? Can you throw trash everywhere?
So, "Maybe there are some rules, right?" (Có thể có một số luật lệ phải tuân theo,
đúng không?)
✔ "Today, we will read about some interesting rules around the world!" (Hôm nay,
chúng ta sẽ đọc về một số luật thú vị trên thế giới!)

Slide 2: Have Food and Drink
👀 Hiển thị: Từ “Have Food and Drink” + hình ảnh ai đó đang ăn uống ở nơi công cộng.
Hỏi:
1. "Where do you usually eat and drink?"
o 🧒 HS có thể trả lời: “At home”, “In a restaurant”, “On the street”
o Do you think you can eat in a library or a museum?
2. "Can you have food and drinks anywhere?"
o What places do you think you can't eat or drink?
o HS có thể đoán: “Yes?”, “Maybe not in a library?”
Slide 3: Take Photos
Hiển thị: Từ “Take Photos” + hình ảnh ai đó đang chụp ảnh tại một địa danh nổi tiếng.
Hỏi:
1. Doyou usually take photos?"
2. What places do you think you can't eat or drink?
3. "Why do you think some places don’t allow photos?"
o 🧒 HS có thể đoán: “Too dark?”, “Secret place?”, “Disturbing others?”
C. SKIMMING
CÂU HỎI 1: “What is the text about?”
“What is the text about? What is the main idea?”
1. Cho học sinh tự trả lời (chat box hoặc gọi 1-2 bạn)
→ Nếu trả lời sai, hỏi ngược:
“Can you find one sentence in the text that tells you the topic?”
2. Chỉ vào câu gần đầu bài đọc:
“Every country has rules. These rules are called laws…”
3. Gợi ý học sinh nhìn từ lặp lại (rules, countries, laws...)
4. Viết câu mẫu A1 lên bảng/slide: ✅ "The text is about special rules in some
countries."
5. Mini tip chốt:
“Even if there is no title, we can still find the main idea from the first 1–2 sentences!”

🎯 Mục tiêu:

Tập cách scan để tìm tên riêng / địa danh
👣 Các bước sửa:
1. Gợi câu hỏi:
“Let’s check the second question: How many places are mentioned in the text?”
2. Cho học sinh làm mini scanning task:
“Look at the text again. Highlight or type all the names of cities or countries you see.”
💬 Học sinh gõ trong chat:
🧒 “Paris, Rome, Singapore”
3. Tổng kết:
“Great! That’s three places. So the answer is: Three places are mentioned.”
4. Viết lại câu đầy đủ A1 lên bảng/slide: ✅ "There are three places in the text:
Paris, Singapore and Rome."
B. SCANNING
Câu 1: "You must not chew gum in Rome."
“Number 1. [Student A], what’s your answer?”
“[Student A]: False!”
“Okay, thank you! Now, please use your pen to underline the sentence in the text that helps
you choose you anwser.”
“You underlined: ‘People must not sell gum in Singapore.’”
“Good! This is about Singapore, not Rome. So your answer is False — that’s correct!”
“The text doesn’t say anything about chewing gum in Rome. Great job!”
✋ Câu 2: "You must not take photos at night in Paris."

“Thanks! Now, can you underline the sentence in the text that shows your answer? Use the
pen tool.”
“Alright, you underlined: ‘You must not take photos of it at night.’”
“That’s about the Eiffel Tower in Paris. So yes – your answer is True. Well done!”
✋ Câu 3: "You must not have food and drinks near some of the famous places
in Singapore."
