GENERAL PURPOSE

That the student applies the knowledge acquired through professional competence during the execution of the process of
Nursing in the care of women, adolescents, adults, the elderly, families, and communities, following the guidelines of
strategic social plan in health matters, strengthening the primary health care strategy, with the implementation of the programs
framed within the models of comprehensive care.
JUSTIFICATION OF THE SUBJECT

Community Integration within the Primary Health Care (P.H.C.) team has been noted for supporting, promoting, and participating.

DESCRIPTION OF THE SUBJECT

The Community Integration Subject is aimed at 4th year students of the Nursing Degree.
with a weekly workload of thirty-six (36) hours for a duration of eighteen (18) weeks. This aforementioned subject is
eminently practical, whose learning strategy is determined by solving the encountered problems and likewise the
resources to be used. In this sense, one of the evaluation strategies is aimed at observing performance (level of competence) and
the written presentation of the activities carried out using performance indicators. In this regard, students will apply the
scientific knowledge and technical skills; acquired through various basic and general subjects such as Community I and II,
Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Socioanthropology, Health Care Management, Mental Health, Anatomy
Pathophysiology, Basic Nursing, and Nursing Ethics, whose content integrates them for the planning and execution of actions.

life in accordance with human dignity, through specific assistance based on risk criteria and at the same time considering the four
dimensions of man in the execution of actions promoting life factors through activities, habits, and behaviors
