LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR
One of the main purposes of the Catholic Renewal
Charismatic is the conversion to a Christian life according to the Spirit
Saint. To achieve this objective, the Renewal has made use of
since the beginnings of what is called the 'Life Seminars in
"The Spirit" or Catechesis of the Seven Weeks, which summarizes
quite well the spirituality of the Renewal. They have a character
evangelizer since they started in 1973 and they seek
raise awareness about the need to renew Christian life and to
we can acquire greater knowledge of what
means living embraced by the grace of the Holy Spirit.
Ralph Martin and Steve Clark started the pre-seminar in 1973.
Outpouring or Baptism in the Holy Spirit. "Used to the
discipline of the 'Christianity courses', they realized that
some kind of guidance was needed to channel and encourage this
grace of the Renewal. Between the two of them and with the help of others
people conceived the Life in the Spirit Seminars, in the
that proclaimed the basic message of the gospel, the importance
of the conversion and the opening of people to the hope of the
visible work of the Holy Spirit in their lives through baptism in
the Holy Spirit.
The seven-week seminar is not projected as a
adult education course or an update in theology on the
Charismatic Renewal, but as an instrument for formation.
in faith, for a spiritual renewal, thus responding to prayer
of Blessed John XXIII: 'Renew in our days, your wonders as
in a new Pentecost. This seminar does not entail in itself
great doctrinal themes, but simply aims for what
he used to repeat Suenens, to teach how to be a good Christian. That is why
that a seminar that instructs us on the 'new life in the

although also of religious culture. We cannot live this
"encounters" driven only by human categories, even if they were
the highest and noblest, because it would mean for us just to reach
those goals that we can understand, that are within reach of
man, of our intelligence, of our will and effort.
The seminar, we must experience it in docility to the Spirit, which wants
to lead us, beyond everything we can imagine and
to wait: he wants to make us Jesus and for us to fulfill his
the same works. Rather, as Juan assures us, 'even greater'. A
we have to put ourselves, confident, in his school: it is the
Spirit the first and true animator, who always calls to the
men to instruct them, correct them, renew them and lead them to the
“whole truth”. Today there is greater awareness of the need for
catechetical and pastoral instruments to revitalize the
sacraments of Christian initiation. The seminar of life in the
Spirit is one of them, where it is as if the artisans and
Builders will work with living stones (1 Cor 3:10-11).
as the seminar progresses we are discovering the riches
what God wants to give us.
The seminar arises from the meeting of those who have already been.
"lit up" with other men and women, that the Lord returns
neighbors on the paths of the world and the fraternal dialogue that arises
and which gradually becomes a true transmission of life,
up to an outpouring of Spirit. Its dimension is therefore always
deeply community-oriented. There is no seminar without a community
that has already lived it and communicates it again. No one can in effect
communicate the Spirit without being filled with new and more
great manifestations, since the charisms grow by exercising them.
To undertake a seminar means, therefore, to enter together,
animators and neophytes, in a current of grace that runs
continuously and comes to 'make all things new'. Even
before receiving the full experience of the outpouring, the seminar
it is an extraordinary time of blessing, made of intense
hope and desire, of listening and astonishment, of a simple faith that
makes miracles possible and thus comes to rejuvenate continually
the adult faith of an entire Community. It is also the time when
Trust, hope, and love are renewed in us.
For those who have known love, witnessing it is a 'demand'.
For those who live in the Spirit, organizing a seminar is a
true act of spiritual charity; we can no longer
pass by the needs of our brothers,
as if it doesn't concern us, as if we could retain for
we receive life without generating it into the world. It is more than
to help the brothers. It is to enter, once again 'together', into 'the

man and to the whole church: "covenant with Him" and "covenant between

save us together, as a family, groups, community; I would really have
little feeling for each one, after what the Lord is
making us enjoy this land, wanting to present ourselves alone in
the paradise. It is time to start learning the ways of the
full and eternal life, to which we are destined; the time in which
we learned to enter into the dynamics of the Spirit and to surrender to
His light and His motions. It is He who makes us enter into the power.

to converge in Christ, our God, everything that we are and
we have, in an intimate abandonment of love that will no longer have an end. He
that teaches us to see all things, both our small life
like the great events of history, with the eyes of the
wisdom of the Father, associating ourselves in this way to his plan of
salvation.
There are many themed models for the seven weeks, the
themes of the original seminar as proposed by Steve Clark and
Ralph Martn son: The love of God, salvation, new life,
receive the gift of God, pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the
growth and transformation in Christ. According to the authors of
original seminar, the first four weeks focus on the
message of salvation and in the meaning of life in the Spirit. It
encourages participants to cultivate an intimate relationship with Jesus.
the objective is that they come to experience the grace of the Holy Spirit and
the ability to dream God's dreams for us. The fifth
the week is built on the renewal of promises
bautsmales. A 'new particular Pentecost' is requested. It is explained
what the Baptism in the Spirit is. During the last two
weeks the teaching is oriented towards greater growth
in Life in the Spirit and in the service that the charisms demand
received. Next, as a schematic, we will use the
seminar of Father Emiliano Tardif and the lay preacher Pepe
Prado, which is found in the book, the journey to the world without suitcases.

THE LOVE OF GOD
The center and the culmination of the experience of the Spirit lie in that
God is love and loves us with a Father's love. We have to
to convince us that only love can transform this world
corrupted by drugs, alcohol, sex, etc. And with love, it goes to
sanctify the church, with love they will change the unjust structures,
Our hearts will change and then Christ will reign in our midst
We. The truth of Christianity is that God is all-powerful.
Creator of Heaven and Earth, He is a loving Father who has woven the
the story of every human being with the guiding child of their love
unconditional and eternal, "as a Father has compassion for his child, so does He
He is like a father to his friends" (Psalm 103:13)
This is what love consists of: not that we have loved...
God, but God has loved us (1Jn 4:10). Jesus
manifested the merciful face of God's love. When a
a person feels loved like this, couldn't resist and changed their life.
There was a woman whose bad reputation had spread throughout
Galilea. The men were looking for her in the darkness of the brothel,
but they despised her in the daylight. Those who approached her

But one day a man arrived in her life who announced love.
unconditional of God for sinners. She believed
immediately in Him and presented Himself at the house of Simon the Pharisee,
where the Messenger of good news was reclining at the table.
He approached from behind and began to caress the Master's feet. Before
the admiration and the scandal of the diners, Jesus did not reject it
how we would have done it; on the contrary, placed
affectionately the hand on her head. Then
abundant tears began to run from that heart that does not
he had received nothing but disdain. He then broke his alabaster jar
where he kept a exquisite perfume of pure nard, and began to
anoint the feet of the Lord. Without realizing it, because of the humidity of his
eyes, their tears also soaked the Master. With their
seductive horsewoman who had served her as an instrument for
to win over clients, began to dry the feet soaked in tears
of true love. The Master does not resist, despite the criticisms
of those who thought they were better than her. Through this acceptance
unconditional, she experienced the saving love of God. Jesus gave her

The life of someone only changes and transforms when they find

The psalmist challenges us, saying: 'Taste and see that the Lord is good,'

mercy.
THE SIN
We were made by and for love. However, our problem
it begins when we drift away from the source of love, to continue
our own paths. Those who stray from life cannot
finding death, the worst disease of man is called
sin, because everyone who commits sin is a slave (Jn 8:34),
whose logical consequence is death (Rom 6:23), since everyone
for he who sows to his flesh will reap corruption (Gal 6:8). Sin is
like a shield that prevents us from experiencing the love of God.
It basically consists of believing in ourselves more and
our means, which lead to the ways of God. It is a rebellion that
it leads us to become independent from God, and therefore not to experience
his saving love, for it separates us from others and divides our
interior. More than doing bad or forbidden things, it is about a
act of rebellion against God, distancing ourselves from His presence and from
their paths. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of
God" (Rm3, 23). When Adam and Eve, who represent each of us
one of us, turned away from God, experienced his nakedness
and they were expelled from paradise, which symbolizes the happiness to which
God had called us. Sin is the root of all evil.

We cannot save ourselves by our own abilities and deeds.

sin is a great obstacle, but the worst problem is not
Admit it. Those who do not admit it cannot experience forgiveness.
But the one who acknowledges is ready to receive salvation, as it
we can see in these two cases of the gospel. A pharisee and a

front, began to boast of all his good works, declaring himself
better than the tax collector who was kneeling at the back
from the temple, which confessed to being a sinner and sought mercy
divine. Jesus affirmed that this one, and not the Pharisee who not only sat
well if not better than the other, was justified by God.
The thief crucified on the left side of Jesus wanted his salvation,
but at no time did he acknowledge his sin. He loved himself

from death. It is not about feeling accused of sins
comets, but rather to have the absolute awareness of oneself
inability to save oneself. The facts show the truth of what
we say. It's walking many paths, but with no goal.
there is nothing worse than walking without making progress and those are the paths
lost. They are mazes without exit, that the more you search, the more you
you despair and sink into the quicksand of your own
limitations. What reason does God have when He complains: 'They have me...

Our God shows Himself wonderful to the sinners who are
not willing to pay for their sin, but opening themselves to be
forgiven by the infinite love of God. Sin is the origin of
all the evils that afflict the world. However, the main one
the problem is not recognizing it, because then we don't search for the
salvation, since we do not believe we need it. That's why Jesus clarifies to
all those who think they are good. "If you were blind, you would not have

Whoever recognizes themselves in need of salvation is at the door of
to find it. Just as a candle can only be lit if it is
turned off, so too can only the light of salvation shine in
who recognizes that he is in the darkness of sin and that he needs
that light. In conclusion, we would say that there is only one sin that God does not
can forgive: that which we do not recognize and want
to excuse, the sin whose price we want to pay ourselves
with a good deed. The only sin that God does not forgive is that
of which we do not ask for forgiveness. It is enough to confess.

Accepting that we are incapable of saving ourselves, and
to surrender ourselves as we are into the hands of God, who does not want the
death of the sinner.
SALVATION IN CHRIST JESUS
Our God comes to meet man to redeem him. This is
much more interested in saving us than we are ourselves. Like
he has given up his son, he is not willing to let him go to waste
precious blood and then seek the man to bring him to the cross
of Christ Jesus, where he has accomplished, once and for all the
salvation of man. The cause of the suffering of the whole world
It is in the heart of man. The lack of love is the source of all

the only alternative when doors close. Only He can make it happen.
what is impossible for men. When someone has
reached the limit of their possibilities and no longer has a solution
the problem, there is always one left: the person of Jesus.
The Lord, in addition to healing us from sin, gives us strength to
to overcome it. It changes the heart of man and makes us desire things
from above instead of those from the earth. If we seek Him with faith, He will
it transforms our life, because wine is for that so that we could have
life and have it in abundance. God does not want his children
they live tied to the bondage of this world. For this, he sends us the
strength of the Holy Spirit, so that we may be in Him, more than
winners in the battles and struggles of this world.
As man, due to his sin, was unable to return to paradise.
lost, God took the initiative and came to man: "For God so loved
to the world that gave its only son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish
but have eternal life.” And the most wonderful thing is that he did not send it
not to the righteous and good, but to those who were at odds with Him
because of our sin: "The Son of Man has come to seek
what was lost” (Lk 3:16). This is the good news for everyone
the men: we have a good shepherd, capable of leaving ninety and
nine sheep and go to look for the lost sheep. Whoever comes to Him, is not
cast out (Jn19, 10), nor condemned, but will obtain the light of
life, because He is the way, the truth, and the life. Instead of
castgarnos, has paid the debt we had due to reasons of

of God for his precious blood. For his death and resurrection,
we are free from sin and death, nothing weighs on us anymore
There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. He died not only for
but instead of it. The wages of sin is death (Rm6, 23).
Jesus took on that death that each of us deserved for his
sin, paying for his own life. However, Jesus was not
sent only to free us from the knot of sin, but above all
to communicate the life of God to us, so that we would live as children
and heirs of all celestial blessings. "I have come to
that they may have life and have it abundantly” (Jn 10:10). On the third day
God resurrected Jesus from the dead, to never die again.
Now as sovereign Pontiff, he offers his life as resurrected to
all who believe in Him. He has been glorified by God, filled with
Holy Spirit and constituted Lord. Full of power in heaven and in the
earth, so that at His Name every knee should bow and submit
celestial powers. Jesus makes salvation possible in every realm
of human life. There is not a single person who cannot be
salvation. His precious blood reaches for all situations. The
the following three cases from the gospel represent in some way
different needs of humanity.
In the adulterous woman, Jesus does not allude to her past,
neither the sentence, nor does she feel condemned on her part. For
there is a completely new and open future: 'go and sin no more'
more”. His forgiveness enables him to sin no more. The rich Zacchaeus,
that changes his life. The one who lacked nothing except height, for him

with the riches of this world, that there is something else
transcendental than the things we can touch or count: The Kingdom
from the heavens. Zacchaeus was freed from his greed and began to live in
justice and peace with everyone else. The repentant thief, they had
convicted as a thief and murderer, he considered himself a prisoner of
death, but turned to Jesus who was suffering the same
suffering and Jesus gave him life forever, reconciled him with God
for eternal life.
In conclusion, we can proclaim the good news that it has
two thousand years, thanks to the death of Christ Jesus, it is possible
to experience life in abundance. However, it is not about
one more solution, if not the only one: "There is no salvation in any other,"
for no other name has been given to men under
"from heaven to save us" (Acts 4:12). On the cross, he gave his life for
we and in his resurrection he has given us his life. The

in the Calvary and in the empty tomb on the outskirts of Jerusalem.
Thanks to Him and for Him, we can live in the new life of a child and of
an heir of God. To those of us who were dead, he repeats:
God, rich in mercy, because of the immense love with which he loved us,
gave us life together with Christ (for you have been saved by
pure grace) when we were dead in sin, He resurrected us
and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:4-6).
God has already done what was His responsibility: to make salvation possible,
that for us was humanly impossible. Now we
it is up to us to accept and respond to this proposal
divine. Just as on the road through the desert, when the people of

of bronze and placed it on a mast, so that whoever saw it would not die
by the bite of the vipers, so also who accepts that
Jesus Savior has already paid the price of his redemption, he exposes himself to the
rays of his salvation that emanate from his death and his resurrection.
FAITH AND CONVERSION
This faith, a gift from God, is at the same time the response to His initiative.
I do believe you and I fully accept the one you sent to
this world to save me.” It is trust, dependence and
obedience to Jesus Savior, dead and resurrected, who is the only
mediator between God and men. Faith is the certainty that God
he will act according to the promises of Christ Jesus. Therefore the
faith is not believing in something but in someone; and trusting in his promise without
limits or conditions. Nor is it an intellectual settlement to
things we do not understand, but rather a dependence on God and His
salvation plan. It is not about a feeling, nor is it measured by the
emotion. Total justification is obtained through Jesus Christ by all who
create (Hch13, 38).
Faith is therefore the man's response to the proposal of the offer of
the salvation of God. It is a way of relating to Him, through
an unconditional surrender, accepting salvation through
Christ Jesus. It is a total decision of man that involves his being.
entirely and commits his whole being. Faith, therefore, connects us.
directly with the source of grace and allows us to have access to
the divine presence, free from all fear of punishment, because already
our sins have been forgiven and we are at peace with God.
We are not saved by our own ability, but through faith.
Saint Paul is emphatic in this field, stating that it is not the
neither the fulfilment of the law nor good works saves us, but rather the
fe.
You have been saved freely by faith; and this is not a thing
yours is a gift from God; it is not due to works, so that no one
it is filled with vanity (Eph 2:8-9). Good works will be the
manifestation and expression of salvation. Its absence will demonstrate,
that it was not about a living faith, but a dead one: 'But we know that
no one is justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ;
we believe in Christ Jesus to be justified by faith of
Christ, not by the works of the law; for no one will be justified by
the works of the law" (Ga2, 16). Whoever tries to save themselves by the
compliance with the law or doing good works, does not require
Jesus as Savior, since he intends to be his own savior.
So faith is not optional. It is absolutely necessary and from it
salvation depends. 'He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but
"He who does not believe will be condemned" (Mark 16:16).
Therefore, Peter and Paul end with an invitation to believe in order to
apropiarse de todos los frutos de la redención: “Todos los profetas
they will be able to receive forgiveness in His name, whoever believes in Him
of sins” (He10, 43). Specifically, faith leads us to believe that
we have already been forgiven and live as such, because our account is already
it was settled and we are at peace with God, we are no longer slaves of
not the sin of servants of Satan, but fully free from all
prison and bondage. The firstfruits of the Kingdom are experienced in our
relationships with God, with others, with creation, and with ourselves
the same, establishing the new heaven and the new earth.
"Repent and convert so that your sins may be erased"
"sins" (He3, 19). Conversion is not limited to a moral change:
That would be very little. It's a change; not because of our strengths and
purposes, but by the faith that leads us to surrender our being

Jesus our life, just as it is, serve and act in us and to
through us. We give up our weakness, our idols that
they have supplanted and we renounce all rebellion that separates us from
God.
In conversion, we exchange our life for that of Jesus. We give Him the
back to sin, but above all, one presents oneself before God; or
better said, the heart is offered to him. Another aspect of conversion
live as children. Some people have focused their

When talking about the conversion of Saint Paul, it does not refer to that

We all need conversion. A new conversion. For
this reason, each Kerygmatic discourse, after presenting to
Jesus dead, resurrected and glorified, always culminates by doing
a call to the heart of man to respond through the
faith and repentance. Faith is manifested in conversion, which is
a change of life. Driven by faith gives us the certainty of our
victory over the world, we renounce all sin, idolatry and
criteria of this world, to submit ourselves one hundred percent under the
power of the gospel, which is God's strength for the salvation of all
the one who believes. In these words, Jesus is confessed as savior and
He is proclaimed Lord. Jesus is confessed as the only and total.

Proclaiming Jesus as Lord means completely surrendering to Him, so that
From now on, He take the helm of our life and directs each

not to say all, they manifest as an expression of faith they unleash the

people. Saint Paul says: "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is the

THE GIFT OF THE SPIRIT
Jesus has come to bring life in abundance, but Jesus died and
He resurrected two thousand years ago, so the question is logical: How
Is the salvation of Jesus present today? The Spirit
Holy is he who makes that salvation effective, making it present to
Jesus. The Spirit touches hearts so that they open to the word of
the truth. He himself reaches into the interior of each person, to
to convince her to be sinful and in need of salvation; and it is not
no one but the Holy Spirit who makes Jesus present today as
the only Savior and Lord.
The Holy Spirit makes all things new by changing our

new and begins to establish in this world the kingdom of God.
the heart of man can only be renewed by God, his creator,
we cannot change appearances and even forms
external life. We could even change our morals, but the
the only thing that transforms the interior of man to make him a creature
new, it is God himself through his Holy Spirit. That's why one of
the last words of Jesus in this world to his disciples were

from the water of the Spirit that flows from the side of Jesus we need

let him come to me; whoever believes in me, let him drink... that was said

my words will not pass." Therefore, I was guaranteeing that not

to express themselves." (Acts 2:1-4). Pentecost is the fulfillment of the
promise of the Father. The apostles now have the advocate.

they can call God Abba and the Lord Jesus of Nazareth (Rm8,15;
1Cor 12,3)
When Peter proclaimed the victory of Christ Jesus over death,
the people were amazed and asked what they should do to
participate in that life of abundance. The apostle replied:
Repent and let each of you be baptized in the name
of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, then
you will receive the Holy Spirit. Because the promise is for you and
your children and also for all the foreigners that I call
"Lord our God" (Acts 2:38 - 39). Jesus is the Messiah, full of
Holy Spirit, who is able to share your Spirit with each
person: when the Samaritan drank from the water that springs up to the
eternal life, immediately changed his life. If he previously doubted about
the identity of Jesus, as he proved the living water ran to his
town to testify that I had just found the Messiah. The only
what makes us identify and accept Jesus as the promised Messiah,
it is the Holy Spirit.
The gospel makes present the power of the Spirit, which is capable of
change the world. The city of Corinth was sadly famous for
its moral depravations. Favored by its shopping center with
two ports, imported and exported all kinds of evil and of
sin. However, one day Paul of Tarsus arrived, weak, timid and
shaking, but with the manifestation of the spirit, to wash,
to justify and sanctify those who believed in the good news of the
salvation and completely change that situation. Only the Spirit
renueva la faz de laterra. En resumen, la vida en abundancia que
Christ came to bring two thousand years ago, he is only present thanks to
to the Holy Spirit, which is poured out on the believers who have
accepted Jesus as Savior and have confessed Him as Lord of
all his life.
Sólo el Espíritu Santo es quien puede producir en nosotros la vida
new, for it is He and only He who makes us be born again, for
to be transformed into new creatures in Christ Jesus. No one can go
a Jesús sino por el Padre, que da el Espíritu Santo para conocer a
Jesus not only in the head, but in life and with the heart.
the outpouring of the Spirit is the most wonderful door that can be given to you
to present a human being, as it is a clear manifestation of God's love.
What should we do to receive this gift? It is enough to believe in.
Jesus and to acknowledge that we thirst for that living water that is called
Holy Spirit, that floods us inside and out; like a
that immerses us or better said that we are immersed
in Him. According to the need of each one, so it will be given to whom.
the more you need, the more you will receive.
THE OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Holy Father, send from heaven your promises made through
the prophets and that your son himself committed to send. Fulfill
the word that you pledged, and in which we have believed,
because your son, Jesus Christ, has transmitted it to us. Father, fill me with
Holy Spirit, so that I may partake in the new life brought by your son.
and may I live as your child in Christ Jesus. Lord Jesus, you
promised that whoever approached recognizing that
I needed the living water that springs up to eternal life, you
would fill you with the Holy Spirit.
I need that source of eternal life, which springs from your heart.
I am eager for my personal Pentecost: to be filled with
Holy Spirit, with your fruits and charisms, to be a witness with power
of your resurrection. I cling to your promise and firmly believe
that you keep your word, because you are the son of God, faithful and
merciful. I am thirsty and I believe that you are full of Spirit
Saint, to share it with me today. Baptize me with your
Holy Spirit, Lord and giver of life. Holy Spirit, in the name
of Jesus, come into my life and give meaning to all my history. I open to you the
doors for you to enter into the depths of me and direct everything
my existence. Come Holy Spirit and fill all my being: my body, my
soul and my intelligence.
THE COMMUNITY
It is not enough to be born into a new life. We need to grow until the
estatura de Cristo, y esto sería imposible sin la armonía de todo el
body of Christ. The fullness of life is not lived in intimacy or
the egoism of individuality. We only experience it when
we form the body of Christ Jesus, where each one has their place,
his charisma and his ministry; serving others and being served
throughout the rest of the body. The culmination of evangelization is the
integration of small communities, where love is made
obviously and they hold each other accountable. The community is the
logical and normal outcome of evangelization. Moreover, to train the
The body of Christ is not optional or facultative. It is imperative.
For just as we have many members in one body, but
Not all have the same function, just like us, although we are
many, we form one body in Christ and we are all
members of one another” (Rom 12:4-5).
A personal encounter with Jesus is not enough. It is necessary to find the
totality of his body that lives in those who invoke his name. The
meeting with Jesus necessarily brings the meeting with the
Brother. The first commandment, love God, is linked to the second:
love your neighbor. Salvation, like light, is expansive by
nature. It cannot be hidden under the table and is shared.
with others, especially with those in need. Jesus is
present in each person, that any assistance or indifference
in response to the needs of the brother, they are considered done to the
same Jesus (Mt 23:31-46). The converts, baptized and filled with the
Holy Spirit on Pentecost, they immediately integrated the
Christian community. Just three verses after the narration.
From the first conversions, we are certified that it is born the
community (Acts 2:42).
To stay with Jesus, it is necessary to form the community

what communicates the doctrine of Jesus.

Cristana.
We begin the new life, thanks to the new birth, but it is
necessary to grow to the stature of Christ Jesus forming his
body. This process is clearly represented in the gospel:
Mary Magdalene was freed from seven demons, but then Jesus
integrated her into the community, to restore it fully. She
offered its services to the community and this helped her to grow in the
responsibility, love, and service. Jesus came to this world to
to show us how a child of God lives. Then he sent us his
Holy Spirit to enable us to live as such. However, not
It's about reproducing many Jesuses, but rather forming one alone: his
mystical body.
You can sail the seven seas on a papyrus raft or
there are those who dare to climb a high mountain, alone. But
nobody, absolutely nobody, has dared to cross the desert alone. It is
necessary the caravan of the Christian community that helps us,
push and correct, to reach the promised land. It cannot be
growing in Christ in isolation. We need unity and communion
with all its body, which is the church. The new evangelized
needs to be an active part of the ecclesial community,
commit to a small community where I can continue
walking and growing in the life of the Spirit. The Love given and
received is the nourishment and the guarantee of new life and the fruit that
guarantee that the Spirit of God has been poured out in our
hearts. The community is not optional, because it is the environment
where the salvation won by Christ Jesus is present and in the
that the action of the Holy Spirit becomes effective.
Each person is responsible for making the vital decision to live the
Christianity in the only way it can be lived: in the
community, renouncing spiritual individualism and forming the
Body of Christ who said: "Father, that they also may be one in...
us, so that the world may believe that you sent me" (Jn 17:21).
