SECTION A: RELIGION
Answer one question
QUESTION 1 (a)
1. According to the Bible (GENESIS account) in the days of Noah, God saw that the wickedness of man
was great on the earth.
2. God was sorry that he made man on the earth
3. God decided to destroy man and everything on the surface of the earth
4. Noah found grace in the eyes of God
5. God told Noah about the extend of corruption on the earth and that he was going to destroy the world
with flood
6. God told Noah to prepare an ark of gopher wood and make windows and set doors
7. God told Noah to make apartments in the ark and paint it with tar(inside and outside) with windows
8. Noah constructed the ark exactly as God has told him
9. Noah brought two each of every animal into the ark
10. He, Noah must bring food of all kind for themselves and the animals
11. Noah was accompanied by his three sons; Shem, Ham and Japheth and their wives
12. At that time Noah was 600 years when the flood came
13. God then told Noah to go into the ark with the animals and his children including their wives
14. After they have entered the ark, God shut it and it started to rain for 40 days and forty night
15. All the surface of the earth was flooded and all the bad people were wiped out from the surface of the
earth.
16. The surface of the earth was overwhelmed with water but the ark floated on the surface of the water
17. The water began to recede progressively and the ark landed on the mountains of Arafat.
18. To be able to find dry land he sent raven to find out but never returned
19. Later he sent a dove, it returned because there was no dry land
20. He waited for seven more days and sent the dove again, it brought flesh olive leaf showing that the land
is dry.
21. He waited for another seven days and sent the dove again, but never retuned
22. Noah, the family and the animals came out from the ark
