Textile Application
Levocol RLD
Reactive dye’s Levelling & Dispersing Agent

Levocol RLD controls the liquor exhaustion & the distribution of reactive dye during the
absorption. Levocol RLD has an excellent dispersing effect & improves solubility of
dyestuff in presence of salt & alkali. Thus reproducibility of the dyeing is improved.

Features
Dispersing & sequestering effect
Minimal dyestuff retarding effect
Minimum influence on the final shade
No influence on the fastness properties of dyed goods
Even built-up of shade over the whole temperature range
No foam generation

Technical Data Sheet LEVOCOL RLD

APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS
SHAKE THE PRODUCT WELL BEFORE USE

Levocol RLD is designed as a levelling agent for reactive dyeing on cellulosic fabrics.
· In processes with increasing dyeing temperature.
· In processes with constant dyeing temperature.
· For high, medium & low reactivity dyestuff.

Guidelines for Application:

Levocol RLD is dissolved in cold or warm water without problems. The solution obtained
can be added easily miscible to the dye liquor. The application amount is practically
independent of the dye concentration. Depending on the depth of shade, the suggested
application amount is 0.5 to 2.0 gpl Levocol RLD.

· Add half of the quantity of Levocol RLD at the beginning of the dyeing process.
· Add half of the quantity of Levocol RLD together with the dyestuff solution.

Buffering effect of Levocol RLD:

The buffering effect of Levocol RLD allows progressive & controlled pH change during alkali
addition (i.e. fixation phase). The pH shifted gradually during alkali addition, leading to a
level dyeing.

Storage stability
Shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacturing, if stored in cool, dry place & away
from heat & direct sunlight.
