18 Common Candlestick Types (2 Basics + 12

Patterns + 4 Doji)
Basics:
1. Bullish Candle: Price closes above open, buyers strong.
2. Bearish Candle: Price closes below open, sellers strong.

12 Patterns:
1. Hammer: Bullish reversal from downtrend.
2. Hanging Man: Bearish signal at top of uptrend.
3. Bullish Engulfing: Green candle engulfs previous red candle.
4. Bearish Engulfing: Red candle engulfs previous green candle.
5. Bullish Harami: Small green inside large red candle.
6. Bearish Harami: Small red inside large green candle.
7. Bullish Harami Cross: Red candle followed by Doji (inside).
8. Bearish Harami Cross: Green candle followed by Doji.
9. Morning Star: Red, small/Doji, then strong green.
10. Evening Star: Green, small/Doji, then strong red.
11. Three White Soldiers: Three strong green candles upward.
12. Three Black Crows: Three strong red candles downward.

4 Doji Types:
1. Standard Doji: Open = close, market indecision.
2. Dragonfly Doji: Long lower wick, bullish push.
3. Gravestone Doji: Long upper wick, bearish pressure.
4. Long-Legged Doji: Long wicks both sides, confusion.
