Character and Role
• Moon – Michael: the son burning with vengeance.
• Lorenzo – Lucas: Michael’s close friend, voice of reason.
• Nguyen – Henry: Michael’s father’s former friend, seen as a
traitor.
• Hwarang– The father’s voice: appears in flashbacks, echoing
memories.
• Dinh Hao – Hannah: Henry’s mysterious secretary, colleague
inside Henry’s company.
• Tra – Nathan: Michael’s father’s former friend, seen as a traitor.
Scene 1 – The Letter (1 minute)
Setting: Michael’s room. Dim light. A wooden desk with a photo of his father
on it.
(Michael sits down, his hands trembling as he opens the letter. A soft yellow
light falls on his face.)
Father’s Voice (off-stage, echo):
“Son… remember, dignity is worth more than life.”
Michael (angry, whispering):
“No, Father… Leo betrayed you. I will take revenge.”
(He grips the letter tightly, tears fall down his face.)
Michael (softly):
“I won’t let your death mean nothing.”
(He crushes the letter in his fist, staring at his father’s photo.)
Michael (cold tone):
“Leo… your time is over.”
(Michael blows out the candle. Darkness fills the stage.)
Scene 2 – The Infiltration (1 minute)
Setting: Leo’s office. Pale white light. A desk cluttered with files and
documents.
(Michael and Nathan sneak in quietly.)
Nathan (low voice):
“Michael, hurry. I’ll watch the door.”
Michael (searching papers):
“Where is it… proof of Leo’s betrayal?”
Nathan (nervous):
“This place gives me chills. Let’s finish fast.”
(Michael opens the laptop and plugs in a USB drive.)
Michael (focused):
“Once I get this data, Leo’s mask will fall.”
(Footsteps echo — Hannah enters, shocked to see them.)
Hannah (softly):
“You shouldn’t be here…”
Michael (shocked):
“Hannah… You work for him now?”
Hannah (whispers):
“Please, Michael. You don’t understand everything.”
(Michael hides the USB in his pocket, stares at Hannah one last time. The
lights fade out.)
Scene 3 – The Warning (1 minute)
Setting: A dark street at night. Blue light and thin fog cover the scene.
(Michael walks fast. Leo steps out and blocks his way.)
Leo (serious):
“Michael, stop! Revenge will destroy you.”
Michael (furious):
“Move, Leo! I can’t forgive you.”
Leo (firm):
“If your father died for dignity, will you be the one to lose it?”
Michael (angry):
“You don’t know the pain I carry!”
Leo (pleading):
“I lost him too, Michael. But revenge won’t bring peace.”
(Michael shoves Leo aside and walks away. Leo calls out after him.)
Leo (shouting):
“Then you’ll lose more than your father did!”
(A spotlight follows Michael as he walks into the darkness.)
Scene 4 – The Truth (2 minutes)
Setting: The harbor at night. Blue lighting. Sound of waves and wind. Leo
stands at the edge. Michael approaches with the USB in hand.
Michael (shouting):
“Leo! This USB shows your crime. You killed my father!”
Leo (calm):
“No… I never betrayed him.”
Michael (furious):
“Don’t lie! I saw everything—your deal, your silence!”
Hannah (trembling):
“Michael… your father chose it himself. He wanted to protect his men.”
Michael (shaken):
“What…? That can’t be…”
Leo (sad):
“He asked me to stay silent. He carried the burden alone. He died with
honor.”
Michael (voice breaking):
“He… he asked you to…? Why didn’t you tell me?”
Hannah (crying):
“Because he made us promise. He wanted you to live without hatred.”
(Michael’s hands tremble. The USB slips and falls. The stage falls silent.)
Leo (softly):
“Your father was a great man, Michael. Don’t ruin his legacy.”
(Michael drops to his knees. A soft light shines on his face.)
Scene 5 – The End (1 minute)
Setting: Michael kneels on the ground. A single beam of light from above.
The sound of the wind fades.
Father’s Voice (echo):
“Son… let go of hatred.”
(Leo steps forward and puts his hand on Michael’s shoulder.)
Leo (softly):
“Revenge ends here.”
Michael (closing his eyes):
“I see it now… Father, forgive me.”
(Hannah steps closer, a warm light fills the stage.)
Hannah (quietly):
“He’s at peace now.”
(Michael looks up toward the sky, voice trembling.)
Michael:
“Maybe now… I can be too.”
(The lights fade. The sound of waves echoes. Curtain closes.)
