Practice Drill Key:

Beaming in compound meters

Rewrite the following rhythms so the notes correctly reflect the given meters, beaming together into basic
beats where possible. For example, in the first empty staff, rewrite it in 3/4 meter (3 groups of 2 eighth notes).
In the second empty staff, rewrite it with correct beaming in 6/8 meter (2 groups of 3 eighth notes).
Some notes may need to be rewritten as two notes that are tied. Also, add barlines in the correct places.
