“Many people think it is better to travel in a group.
Others believe that travelling alone is a better
choice." Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
There is an ongoing debate which is the best way to travelling, through in a group or at one’s own pace.
Although being with a group can be interesting and give certain benefits, I go with the first group as
traveling with a group is safer, convenient, and does not have any stressful situations. In this essay, I am
going to examine both ideas thoroughly in detail in the following paragraphs before giving a conclusion.
At first, travelling alone can be more liberating, because solo travellers have a chance to have full
control, they can decide at their own pace, and do not rely on others' opinions without having to
compromise. Actually, solo tourists have the freedom to design their itineraries, spend as much time as
they wish in a particular place. For example, navigating a new city or interacting with locals can be
rewarding and foster self-growth. As a result, this flexibility allows for deeper cultural immersion and
personal reflection.
On the other hand, there are several advantages to travelling in a group, especially for convenience and
security, as group members look out for each one. Furthermore, this is also helpful for those visiting
unfamiliar countries where language or cultural customs might be challenging. For instance, being in a
group often enhances enjoyment owing to the fact that group visitors can share their excitement and
experiences with companions. Consequently, these situations make travel more enjoyable, comfortable,
and safer.
To conclude, according to the ideas presented and explained above, I strongly advocate for being with a
group while considering the existing benefits of visiting alone. It is recommended that before using
anything, people have to think about its core morale and the consequences that it may cause in the long
run.
