INTRODUCTION
Nhiệm vụ: Giới thiệu đối tượng trong biểu đồ (đủ các yếu tố what, where, when)
Yêu cầu: Paraphrase lại câu hỏi (trừ địa điểm)
Ví dụ: The graph below shows information about the number of people visiting
Australia over an eight-year period between 2000 and 2008.
Bước 1: Gọi tên biểu đồ: “The graph” -> “The line graph”
Bước 2: Bỏ “below”
Bước 3: “Shows information about” -> “details/ illustrates/…”
Bước 4: WHAT: “the number of people visiting Australia”
-> “how many people visited Australia”
Bước 5: WHERE: Australia (không paraphrase)
Bước 6: WHEN: “over an eight-year period…” -> from 2000 to 2008
Intro hoàn chỉnh:
The line graph details how many people visited Australia from 2000 to 2008.

- Nếu mở bài viết được cả 2 dạng thì nên chọn dạng how many / how much vì dạng the
number of / the amount of dùng rất nhiều ở overview và body → đỡ lặp
- Cần phân biệt number / amount / proportion
● The number of + danh từ đếm được (VD: students, people,...)
● The amount of + danh từ không đếm được (VD: money, electricity,...)
● The percentage of + cả 2 loại danh từ
