Characters: 4

INT. VERANDAH – SAME NIGHT

A single lantern glows faintly. Mr. Sharma sits on a wooden chair, clutching the
zip pouch tightly in his hand. His face is a mix of disbelief and anger.
Mrs. Sharma stands nearby, her eyes wet, voice trembling.
Kabir watches quietly, the tension heavy in the humid night air.

MR. SHARMA
(kaske haath bandhte hue)
Yeh usne kaha se liya, Kabir? Kisne diya use yeh sab? Paise kahaan se laaye?

MRS. SHARMA
(main rokhte hue)
Mujhe toh laga bas udaas hai… par yeh toh sapne mein bhi nahi socha tha.

Kabir steps forward slowly, his tone calm but firm.

KABIR
Baba, gussa theek hai… par abhi hume react nahi, soch samajhkar respond karna
hoga. Pehle usse baat karte hain. Shayad kisi doctor, counsellor, ya school teacher
se bhi milna pade.

Mr. Sharma takes a long breath, anger slowly turning into resolve.
Mrs. Sharma wipes a tear from her cheek.

MR. SHARMA
(slowly nodding)
Theek hai. Kal school counsellor se baat karte hain. Der aur nahi karni chahiye.

MRS. SHARMA
Sameer ko hamesha laga ki hum uske paas nahi hain… ab yeh galti sudharni hai.

The lantern flickers softly as the three sit in silence — united in worry, but ready to
act.

INT. SAMEER’S ROOM – NEXT MORNING

Morning light filters in through the small window. Birds chirp outside.
Sameer sits cross-legged on his bed, a notebook open in his lap, eyes downcast.
Mr. Sharma enters quietly and sits beside him, his tone gentle.

MR. SHARMA
Beta… hum sab jaante hain ab. Tu akela nahi hai. Hum milke isse nikal lenge.

Sameer’s eyes well up; his voice trembles.

SAMEER
Mujhe laga aap sab busy ho… main khud nahi samajh pa raha tha mere saath kya
ho raha hai.

Mrs. Sharma’s voice comes softly from the doorway.

MRS. SHARMA (O.S.)

Ab sab kuch milke karenge, Sameer. Har kadam pe hum saath hain.

She walks in and sits beside him. The family sits close, their hands joining.
The camera lingers on their intertwined fingers — a quiet moment of healing and
unity.
Soft, hopeful music swells as the screen slowly fades.

CLOSING PLATE – PART 2

ON-SCREEN TEXT (over dark background, gentle rural ambient music):

"Nasha ek warning sign ho sakta hai — sirf “phase” ya “galat dosti” nahi.
Jab parivaar samajhkar saath deta hai, tabhi ek naya raasta milta hai.
Sunna, dekhna aur samay pe action lena zaruri hai.
Agar aapko lagta hai ki koi nasha kar raha hai, toh professional madad lena
sharm ki nahi, himmat ki baat hai.
Madad lena hi sudhaar ka pehla kadam hai."

FADE OUT.
