Title: BODY IMAGE & ANXIETY

Characters: 2 children and 2 adults

SPLIT SCREEN – GIRLS’ ROOM & SCHOOL CORRIDOR

[Soft instrumental music plays briefly, then fades out.]

On one side, SIMRAN sits with MS. ADITI in Simran’s room (Ms. Aditi
visiting to check on her).
On the other side, AARAV sits with MR. RAJAN in a quiet corridor, leaning
against the wall near lockers.

INT. GIRLS’ ROOM – CONTINUOUS

Close-up of SIMRAN, hesitant.

Ms. Aditi speaks softly.

MS. ADITI:
Simran, maine notice kiya tum kuch dinon se thodi udaas ho. Sab theek hai?

Simran shrugs, avoids eye contact, replying quietly.

SIMRAN:
Bas... kabhi kabhi lagta hai main sabse alag hoon. Mere weight ko lekar log
comments karte hain.

Ms. Aditi listens attentively.

MS. ADITI:
Ye sunke bura lagta hoga. Tumhare emotions valid hain, Simran. Body image se
related chinta bahut common hai.

Simran opens up more.

SIMRAN:
Main har photo edit karti hoon, taaki main ‘perfect’ dikhoon. Par andar se toh
main confident feel nahi karti.
Ms. Aditi leans in, reassuring.

MS. ADITI:
Social media ke images aksar unrealistic hote hain. Apne body ke saath dosti
banana ek process hai—aur tum us path par ho. Hum tumhari madad karenge.

INT. SCHOOL CORRIDOR – CONTINUOUS

Mr. Rajan walks slowly with Aarav near the lockers. Aarav leans against the wall,
staring at his hands.

MR. RAJAN:
Aarav, aaj kal tum kaafi chup ho. Sports se bhi door ho gaye ho. Kuch pareshaani
hai kya?

Aarav hesitates.

AARAV:
I don’t know, sir... mirror dekhkar ajeeb lagta hai. Mujhe lagta hai main smart
nahi dikhta, sab mujhse better hain.

Mr. Rajan nods with understanding.

MR. RAJAN:
Ye mehsoos karna bahut logon ke saath hota hai. Aur ladke bhi aise thoughts
experience karte hain—ye normal hai, lekin akela mehsoos karne ki zarurat nahi
hai.

AARAV:
(shyly)
Aur kabhi-kabhi log tease karte hain—“weak Aarav” ya “lazy Aarav.”

MR. RAJAN:
Haan, par apne strengths pe focus karo. Self-worth tumhare marks ya body shape
pe dependent nahi hai. Trusted adult se baat karna bhi help karega.

Aarav nods slowly.

MONTAGE – VISUALS
● Aarav journaling in his room.

● Simran laughing with friends at home.

VOICE-OVER (Ms. Aditi & Mr. Rajan, alternating):

Jab hum apne aap se dayalu hote hain, toh hum body image ke pressure ko
pehchan kar usse behtar handle kar sakte hain.

CLOSING PLATE – TEXT ON SCREEN

(Black background with logo/branding. Soft instrumental music.)

“Har body alag hoti hai, aur sabki journey bhi. Apne aap ke saath dosti
karo — support maango, suno, aur khud ko samjho.”
“Body image se jyaada important hai self-respect aur kindness — apne
liye bhi.”
“Agar aap ya aapka koi jaana-pehchaana vyakti body image ko leke
pareshaan hai, school ke trusted adult ya counselor se baat karna pehla
step ho sakta hai.”

FADE OUT.
