After successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
CO1. Describe the architecture and fundamental components of digital electronic circuits.
CO2. Demonstrate the realization of logical functions using basic and universal logic gates.
CO3. Apply Boolean algebra principles to define, simplify, and manipulate logic expressions.
CO4. Analyze and troubleshoot digital electronic circuits using fundamental techniques.
CO5. Critically evaluate and apply appropriate methodologies for the design and implementation of various digital applications.

Pedagogy for Course Delivery:

 Classroom Interaction
 Videos and power point presentations
 Class Test for Evaluation
 Assignments and Tutorials for continuous assessment.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs):

Level 1: Remembering
 CLO 1: Remember and recall basic definitions, terms, and concepts related to digital electronics, such as logic gates, number systems, Boolean
algebra, and types of memory devices. Identify the symbols and truth tables for logic gates (AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XOR, XNOR).
Level 2: Understanding
 CLO 2: Understand and explain the operations of binary arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and their importance in
digital circuits.
Level 3: Applying
 CLO 3: Apply Boolean algebra to simplify and implement logic expressions using basic logic gates.
Level 4: Analyzing
 CLO 4: Analyze and compare the operation of different flip-flops (SR, D, JK, and T) in sequential circuits and identify their applications in
various digital systems.
Level 5: Evaluating
 CLO 5: Evaluate the efficiency of a given digital circuit design by comparing it against alternative designs and justifying the choice of the most
effective solution.
Level 6: Creating
 CLO 6: Design and implement a complex digital system using combinational and sequential logic circuits, incorporating electronic devices and
other components to meet specific functional requirements.
