The Cicrular Flow Diagram
The circular flow model
demonstrates how money
moves from producers to
households and back again in
an endless loop. In an economy,
money moves from producers
to workers as wages and then
back from workers to
producers as workers spend
money on products and
services.
Households
Are individuals who provide the
labor that enables businesses to
produce goods and services.
Households receive income (in
the form of compensation) in
exchange for their labor
Firms or Businesses
Are mainly producers or businesses who
buy factors of productions from
households in the market.
They transform these factors into goods
and services and resell them to
households in the goods market.
