First they asked for extracurricular certificates and 12th marksheet.

Tell us about yourself.

How many states and uts did u cross to reach rohtak and name them.

Since I am from Chennai and lived in qatar they asked me who the education minister of Tamil Nadu was as well as
the name of the Emir of Qatar.

They steered clear of any questions related to geopolitics (since I mentioned it was an area of interest and I had
certificates related to Model United Nations).

Then they asked a few subject questions:


1. They gave me a cubic equation and asked me to plot it on a graph.
2. Who is the father of scientific management?
3. Who is the father of general management?
4. What was Henri Fayol's profession?
5. Difference between leader and manager.

Then they asked me for the difference between Ambanis and Tatas. I answered, but that was not the answer they were
expecting so one of the interviewers elaborated on the various ways tata has provided employment and educational
services to Indians.

I asked them if they were highlighting how tata is more socially oriented than reliance, so the conversation moved to
corporate social responsibility. They asked me what it was and why companies do it.

They asked me why I wanted to pursue an IPM course as well as what plans I had after completing 5 years. They wanted
to know if I had any specific field and company names in mind.
There was no extempore.

One panelist, ma'am, was patient and kind while the other panelist, sir, was disruptive to try and throw me off balance

As the interview started, sir ordered tea and biscuits and ma'am refused them

They did not take my resume

The watch in the room started beeping, which sir picked up and gave it to somebody else and they fixed it instantly (a
disruptive activity to make me nervous I presume)

Absolutely no GK asked

(Regarding our gdp how RBI predicted 7.8% but our economy is actually growing at 8.2%)
So now he asked me by which methods can we use to calculated GDP.

(I answered using an example of an Indian citizen living in Japan)
Asked me explain to me consumer surplus using this pen
(I replied with an example)
She asked me where does price fall in this equation?
(I answered by mentioning law of demand)
She said just recheck it once and that's it
Both wished me good luck

During the whole interview i maintained a friendly smile and got reassured as mam was also smiling in between the
interview
Mam was lenient and friendly while sir maintained a constant gaze so as to make me blunder
No question was left unanswered
The whole interview was a bit long lasting 20 mins.
