The variable that I searched for in the Florida Impressions exhibit at the Harn Museum was the
color of the sky in each painting that included a sky. I chose the most prominent color depicted
for many of the paintings, and made a “Mixed” category for those that had multiple colors that
were vividly present. The most common color of the sky was blue, and I made several
distinctions into different types of blue. Besides shades of blue, the least common color that were
included was purple.
